Reliable Heating & Air
I had Chris wire up my pool pump, install a house surge protector and service my air conditioner. I give him my highest rating. He spent time to learn my needs and provided quality solutions. This was my most satisfying service experience in many years. Great job!

Jenkins Plumbing Co
We have had a serious ongoing issue with the Summerville, SC location. During our home being built, we had an employee forget to put a valve on our line upstairs which resulted in a flood of our entire home. Your insurance company paid to have a company come out and remove and restore everything damaged. We moved in on November 7th and noticed the toilet gurgling when water was turned on in the shower and sink. We called a tech to come out because our toilet and tub wouldn't drain. He came, worked on it for a few minutes and said there was just a clog. We had two techs come out today because of the same issue. They removed our toilet, attached something that was "not attached" and put our toilet back in place. We now have water from air vent leaking downstairs on my carpet. I am also noticing water through my ceiling. This just happened today. I am highly allergic to mold and cannot be around it. I need this taken care of immediately. I called the local branch and was told they would have a manager call me. I haven't had a call back. My husband called and they said they would send someone out at 2:30. How will a plumber help my wet drywall and ceiling that's holding water? I have dealt with months of distress during these separate incidents over this and will not tolerate this at all. The two techs that came today, slammed my door on their way out in my face, disrespected me to my face and bad mouthed me as they told me to "call their office if I had a problem." I run a business myself and would never allow a customer to endure such unprofessionalism and lack of respect for another's home. My carpet is getting damaged, my walls were damaged by them dragging their machines around and now I'm facing water damage AGAIN.

Buyer BewareThere must be some people who have good experiences with Stanley Wieczorek, but I am not one of them. I should have searched the county court records (Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston) first because he has made several trips to small claims court. I paid for a repair, he never showed, now won't return my calls or my money. Simple as that and apparently a familiar business practice during his days while known as SOS Svc Home Repairs. I can't believe he is referred by Frigidaire.

To get a true picture of the deception this small outfit is capable of you need to search the better business bureau for "SOS Service & Appliances Plus Llc" and yellowpages review for "Sos Svc Home Repairs". I was deceived by the owner Stan when it was Sos and found that they changed their name to Ten390 recently...likely due to the baggage of negative reviews. Be very careful, the crew at this business has a long record of ripping people off.

Tips & Advices
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
