Distinctive Irrigation & Landscaping
We hired Keith and his team to run a french drain and install a pump. The company required a 50% deposit in advance, which we paid. They canceled on us 3 times. When we finally threatened to cancel the job they agreed to come, however again he showed up 3 hours late. The team working was obviously experienced, but the ownership and service are terrible. Ultimately they left the job unfinished. We withheld $200 to ensure they returned and we haven't heard from them since. Use someone else. Any positive reviews have to be bogus

Distinctive Irrigation & Landscaping
I have been having drainage issues from the rain for years. I finally called Distinctive Irrigation. Outstanding work with a competitive price. Even after the hurricane rain we had, I did not have any standing water after the drains were put in. Keith even said if it is not draining right , call them to fix it. But, as i expected, it worked great.

BOB'S Landscape & Irrigation Services
I bought two palmetto Trees from Bob's Landscape. One tree lived after 6 months the other tree died. It took me a month just to catch up with him. He told me he did not give me a warranty on the trees and he did not try and make it right. Now I have to pay someone to remove the tree or buy another one. Bob's business practice is dead, there is no respect or even an ounce of business respect. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HIM!

BOB'S Landscape & Irrigation Services
Was quick to take my money and it was a lot considering I live on social security and the palm took over 1/3 of my monthly check. First week after he planted it went over and rested on my home. Took over a week to get him out to replant after calling a couple times. Then 9 months later the branches died and I called and text umpteen times asking what I can no reply. Paid someone to treat it and put out an additional $60 to the $350 I paid for tree. As it turned out tree was gone and died. Paid $410 for a tree that never even opened up, still had the cut limbs but dead at 9 months. I feel he should have replaced it since it was under a year. Even Lowes replace their things in 1 year if dead. Not only is my tree dead, Bob's business practice is dead, there is no respect or even an ounce of business respect. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HIM!

Greenscape Lawn and Ground Maintenance
i worked there, and i must say there equipment is garbage, chris and tony are both a joke, they have no clue how to run a business, you work all week... and at end of week they only pay for half the week, and come up with excuses why they cant pay, they have no business even doing landscaping, this company is a joke and highway robbery, i would advise staying far away from this company

This is the second time I have called on Keith -- this time to add two additional downspouts into the existing French Drain (Keith did a year ago) due to new gutters installed on the west side of the house. Keith and his crew came out and knocked it out -- the drain has been going great for over a year now. My advice is, if possible, get your gutters tied into your French Drain, helps with all types of yard ponding.

U. S. Lawns
They did not do anything close to adequate work. I am a very laid back person in general but I couldn't believe the lack of work ethic and professionalism they performed on the job. I had to make it a point to write this review to anyone who may consider them, DONT!! Fair warning. I'll leave it at that.
Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
