This business was convenient for us since we work in Sulphur and could easily drop it off and pick it up. When you are having to make repeat trips for the same problem ?? Convenience does not matter. The excuses made as this place kept our vehicle a month before, during and after Hurricane Harvey were outrageous. We only know this because THEY never update you on your vehicle and WE only called twice in the month. My vehicle is once again down there with the same problem they charged us 500 dollars to fix, please note the 3 hour labor time spent ON my truck they kept for a month. They were always puzzled the two times we called as to what the issue was? or waiting on Dodge to call them back since they obviously were now clueless as to how to get my Headlamps to work in low beam as well as high beam. John Wells, the owner is rude and makes excuses for his crews inability to do a job correctly....ranging from "well they were bailing water out of their house" or letting them go early on Friday when we called because NOW my truck hood is not closing right....after a month at Meads Automotive. Funny how all of Houston was back up and running....truly devastated by Hurricane Harvey they were....and John is still saying his crew is bailing their houses why my truck wasn't fixed in a whole month. It's back down there for the same problem....but it will NOT be back there AGAIN. If you want unreliable mechanics who are clueless....and a man who makes excuses for them and rewards them on Fridays by closing up shop early?? Meads Automotive is your place. I forgave when we brought our Jeep and it died at the red light and the Mechanics had to push it with my husband helping back into the parking be FIXED...AGAIN. But, more wasted money or time...Reviews Matter...too bad I just now looked at all the negative reviews Meads actually has against them. Here's another for them. --I see where John Wells responded that his business had doubled? Tripled? Also inviting the disgruntled reviewer to contact him? We are considered a repeat customer as are our grown children...and have been as understanding as we possibly can be ....but this should have and will never happen to us again. Because WE will not allow it to, not because John Wells remedied a thing with regards to this matter--Todd and Elizabeth Green ...let's make it easy for you , if I already didn't.

Rip off! $700 for a fuel pump on a 2000 model Chevy Suburban! They thought I was from out of town so they stuck it to me. I have just recently relocated here and it seems that this place takes advantage of out-of-towers, beware.... I'll never use this shop again! On the bright side, the work seems to be good and the appearance of the place is professional.

Great people and great service. I have had multiple cars serviced here and they always do a great job. I recommend this business to all of my friends and family. In fact my uncle has a car there now! It is by far the best place in the southwest area to get your vehicle fixed. Stop by, you will see what I mean.

Skip tracing is tracking an individual who is missing, has defaulted on a debt, or is a fugitive from justice.
Process servers can cross state lines to serve papers, but there are exceptions and limitations. In cases of criminal activity in which the defendant is out of the state the complaint was filed in, most times it is legal to serve them. However, in some cases where a witness is being served outside of the state the complaint was filed in, the plaintiff may need to file charges in the witness’ state in order to allow service. The laws can be tricky in these situations so it’s recommended you consult council to know your rights and limitations and the state laws when attempting service across state lines.
While rules can vary by location, a general rule is that papers must be served between  6 a.m.-10 p.m, and they cannot be served on Saturday or Sunday if the defendant observes either as a holy day. Serving papers on these days, if the defendant is religiously observant on either day, can actually be a misdemeanor. There are variations and exceptions to these rules, such as the case being a criminal proceeding or the server is granted an exemption due to extenuating circumstances.
While some states do require a process server to be licensed, not all do. However, some states do require that process servers be registered in their state or county, or appointed to serve in specific counties.
Benefits of hiring a process serve include speed of service, servers knowledge of relevant laws, their ability to serve federal papers (sheriffs and deputies are usually only allowed to serve state and local federal papers), and cost. For instance, private servers might be cheaper than a sheriff. Private servers might also be able to accommodate special requests, like high-risk service or traveling to serve the papers.
