YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Animal Shelters in Strongsville, OH
1.Northeast Ohio SPCA Inc
9555 Brookpark Rd
I have read the reviews and have discovered that half of the reviewers came seeking an animal to give to. Now these left with an animal. The other half came seeking what the animal could give to them. These left empty handed.
2.Parma Animal Shelter
6260 State Rd
As I read some of these reviews, I have to say we don't agree with the lack of support for this shelter. We always hear good things about what these people do... save your poor reviews for the idiots who don't have their animals fixed and leave them running around the neighborhood mating with every dog or cat they come in contact with. What about the calls these people go on having to remove emaciated animals from idiots who starve their pets... you know the pets they supposedly love... spay or neuter your animal tomorrow to prevent more animals being put to sleep throughout our kennels, shelters or APL.
3.Berea Animal Rescue Fund
390 Barrett Rd
Mossie is an idiot. An unjustified "one star" brings down their total rating. People review businesses to show their satisfaction of the care and support they've received. Berea Animal Rescue is awesome--loving caregivers, wonderful pets to adopt. We have had 3 cats from BAR, all precious and part of our family. Thank you, Berea Animal Rescue.
4.Stay-A-While Cat Shelter
8800 Akins Rd
I visited the shelter because I remembered it from over 30 yrs.ago (under a diff.name)obv.alot changed but what I always liked no matter what happened with the decor was the fact that all the cats& kittens could roam "free will".I have to say there was a loud cat urine odor but having been around cats in some form or way my whole life that was almost a sure thing. The staff was overly friendly & helpful, considering I wasn't there to adopt..although I did leave with an imprint of two of them in my head. all the animals were literally right at home & content.I'd like to put a word in for those that can't speak. Please consider adopting a Cat/kitten, if not from StayAwhile then from your local shelter.also...Thanks to the volunteers that make it work! I've been there.
5.North Royalton Animal Hospital & Paws at Play Resort
9027 Ridge Rd
North Royalton Animal Hospital is an AWESOME facility! Dr. Hechko and his staff take great care of the pets with compassion but also take great care of the owners. I am so glad that I found this vet hospital to take our precious babies. The day care/resort staff is also great. Dr. Hechko and Dr. Roach have never misled me into choosing treatment that was really not needed. My lab has had 2 cancer surgeries in less than a year and each time Dr. Hechko gave me my options without any pressure to go one way or another. The entire staff is gracious, caring, and supportive.
6.Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter
9500 Sweet Valley Dr
Adopted a pitbull mix 6 months ago from CCAS. The staff was amazing, any question I had was immediately answered, the kennels were clean, all the dogs had beds, several volunteers eager to help, and play with these dogs. Will definitely return when Chance decides he wants a playmate.

The dog pound has totally changed i would tell anyone to go take a tour before they judge the place. It is super nice now. They keep the animals more then 3days to get a home and they only euthanize them if they are vicious. If you adopt i would adopt from here. Lots of animals to pick from!

Happy Trails provides the rescued farm animals and equine with medical care, proper nutrition, clean and safe housing, and as much TLC as possible. We work in cooperation with a variety of other rescue groups, both local and out of state, to network and help find homes for the rescued farm animals. Our adoption program allows for the rescued farm animals to be adopted as a family pet only. Once a farm animal is accepted by Happy Trails, they are no longer allowed to be placed back into food production, nor are they allowed to be bred or used for exploitation in any way.
