A to Z Auto Repair
Have been buying used cars for 40 years. Bought 2 from A to Z. Absolutely the WORST experience! Both vehicles were purchased under a contractual arrangement with the owner (Eli). Eli promises to deliver a vehicle to meet your needs at auction if you give him the cash up front. We were happy with the 1st car so gave him insurance payoff for another vehicle that had recently been totaled in an accident. I loved the vehicle that had been lost; it was older but loaded with options that all worked. For $ we gave him, Eli was certain he could find a replacement. Within an hour of giving him $, he called to say he'd found one; would be here in 2 weeks; it was actually 4 weeks-when it arrived it needed about $900 in repairs. Over 6 mo, we spent minimum of $1,500 more on repairs just to make it drivable; never did get check engine, ABS, or oil light to go off. It was "loaded" w/options that didnt work. I asked Eli to fix only one, the DVD player for kids. Paid him $125; replacement never worked-has not played a single DVD but Eli never offered to return $-Guess it worked once for him but he could never get it to work to show me that it did. After newly purchased tires wore out in 30 days I went somewhere else with A to Z receipts & asked if they could find what was wrong. Turned out Eli never recommended alignment after replacing front struts. Eli insists this was not necessary but an alignment did resolve the issues. The timing belt in the other vehicle broke within 90 days. Never considered that Eli's fault. However, the $185 ticket we got in Nov. for driving an unregistered vehicle purchased from A to Z in Sep was totally Eli's fault. According to Eli, he was too busy and just didn't have time. At the time I was nice about it because I was still trying to get issues resolved with the catastrophic purchase of tge other vehicle. When I confronted Eli about the alignment, he said I had been nice and gave positive feedback that repairs seemed to be improving things. Yes, I was nice because I'm a nice person and felt like I was being a chronic complainer. However, the vehicle never drove as it should and in retrospect, I probably should have taken Eli to court rather than go back to him after driving in a snow storm and feeling I had no control of the vehicle. I literally feel I could have been killed due to what I perceive to be Eli's negligence in ensuring the vehicle was safe to drive. One last thing, he scheduled at least 2 appointments with me that he didnt show up for which seems to be consistent with another reviewer's comment. If I could give him less than 1 star, I would. Let the next buyer beware, I guess.

A to Z Auto Repair
Had a 10AM appointment for this morning that was made a week ago. They "open" at 10, I waited almost an hour. NO SHOW! I leave a three star at expertise because I do not know whether they know anything or not, but professionalism and promptness the get ZERO stars.WTF!

Fast, reliable service at a really fair price. Since our daughter and nephew go to college in Stevens Point, it's great to have a shop there we can trust to help them when they have car troubles. Plus they're really nice people :)

A to Z Auto Repair
I have been bringing my vehicles to A to Z Auto since they opened, and they are amazing! What other mechanic do you know will spend time trying to fix an issue then when they find out it's actually a simple fix let's you walk out with "I'm just glad I could fix it for you" when you try to pay him for his time!?

Tips & Advices
The best time of day to water a lawn is early morning or evenings - the cooler times of the day. Steer clear of watering during peak warmth and sun activity; not only can it be potentially damaging to plants, but more water is lost from evaporation, reducing efficiency.
Provided the pressure and flow are identical, and the length of time watering is equal, there should be no difference in in the amount of water delivered between manual or timed sprinkler systems. It’s all about pressure and flow that determines delivery amount.
In the warmer months you want to water three to five times a week. In cooler months, two to three times a week should be plenty. The goal is to get ¾ of an inch to 1 inch of water delivered each time. A good rule of thumb is a little more in summer, a little less in winter. If you live in a rainy area, you might not need to manually water at all in the winter.
A check valve is a valve that only allows flow in one direction, while preventing flow in the opposite direction.
The first variable to determining how long to run your sprinklers is seasonal; the second is sprinkler output. In warmer months, or peak growing season, water for approximately 20-30 minutes a day, every three to five days. Ideally your grass wants 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch of water. In the cooler, slower growing seasons, 10-15 minutes, two to three times per week. If you use automatic sprinklers, be sure to adjust them seasonally.
