Corash & Hollender, PC
I wanted share my experience, I was looking for a bankruptcy attorney, and was searching for one on the internet. The “Law firm of Corash and Hollender” came up in my search query. I saw positive review after positive review, I said I have to call and make an appointment ASAP! I met with Mr. Hollender and couldn’t believe how he made me feel at ease, he explained step by step what the process would be. He is truly one of a kind. So where do I even begin to thank Mr. Paul Hollender, who is such an amazing lawyer and human being. Honestly, first impressions are lasting and he is the most decent and caring person, besides being such a knowledgeable lawyer. He really goes the extra mile to help his clients. I knew I’d be in good hands with his law firm. I met Brian Palma (the brightest paralegal I ever came across) - I can’t begin to thank him for everything he has done for me. I also wanted to thank Kasey who helped me every time I came into the office. She’s a wonderful woman and such a great part of there team! Paul Hollender and his staff handled my case with the upmost professionalism, detailed understanding of bankruptcy laws. The caring they showed me as their client truly goes beyond what words can ever express. When you retain the law firm of Hollender and Corash you could not be in better hands. I highly recommend the law firm of Hollender and Corash for your bankruptcy and other needs! You need a lawyer give them a call today! Take it from me; you will be glad you did.

File Howard M Esq
In the sleazy, money grubbing legal world where billing your client is the name of the game Mr. File really separates himself from the crowd. Having gone thru 2 completely inept lawyers previously for a case, Howard took my case and immediately I saw the difference. He fought back against the tide of lies that were being said about me, a lunatic opposing attorney, and a judge that seemed to have a personal vendetta against me. All the while Howie guided me with finesse, telling me what to do and making sure everything was filed in a timely fashion. He did something none of my other lawyers did, he really fought for me. On top of that he was upfront about his billing and went as far as to make decisions that would maximize my retainer instead of burn thru it. I can't recommend Howard File enough. When the chips are down and things look hopeless, pick up the phone and call Howard. He will get the job done.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this attorney and wonder if the lower ratings are from people who were on the other side of her case that she beat in court and now look to get even with her by using the rating system as a bashing forum... Do yourself a favor and read the GOOD RATINGS and see what those of US have to say! She is a highly skilled Lawyer who will defend her clients with a no-nonsense approach! She Is well-prepared in Court and does NOT drag out the case and will NOT tell you lies or mis-lead you in any way even if it is something you prefer not hearing! As for her fees, they are reasonable and for those who have complained, DON'T YOU want to get paid for the work YOU do? BE SMART AND BELIEVE THE GOOD RATINGS... HIRE HER BEFORE YOUR OPPONENT DOES!!!! You don't want to be on the other side of the table!!! Don't say I didn't GIVE YOU THE HEADS UP!!! DON'T HESITATE...SHE IS THE BEST!!!

Jonathan H Poznansky
"Talk is cheap. Good legal representation is priceless". I've been working for over 25 yrs and in that time span have had some injuries due to the nature of my job. I've used big name attys in the past. When time comes to go to court I found a 28 yr old kid representing me. After a couple of these I almost started representing myself. I got sick of no callbacks, questions not answered, etc. Jon Poznansky came recommended by a friend. He's taken care of my last few injury cases. He's totally professional and knows what he's doing. His staff shows the utmost respect and professionalism every time I call with a question. They always get back to you. I've recommended many coworkers to Jon's firm. In this stage of the game I wouldn't use any one else to represent me. I wanna thank you guys for all your help....

I would like to thank Mr Paul Hollender and his team at Corash & Hollender,PC for there professionalism and there kindness and friendly attitude toward my wife and I at our meeting at his office earlier this month. My good experience actually started right from the initial phone call I made to set up an appointment. I spoke to a women name Casey who was so pleasant to me and asked me if i would like to come in tomorrow? I thought that was great especially while we were concerned with our situation. Meeting with Mr Hollender was a pleasant experience and most of all we were impressed how he was very caring toward our situation and actually calmed us down with understanding some facts that we didn't know. So I can say that I am very satisfied with the experience we had with Mr Hollender and his team!!!

Law Office of Nicholas M. Moccia, P.C.
I was unable to get help from the Board of Directors because the sponsor and his management company was controlling the building. I had nobody to voice my concerns and issues too, until I hired Nicholas M. Moocia a Landlord & Tenant Cooperation expert. Mr. Moccia certainly got the attention of the Board of Directors, Sponsor, and Management Company when they were served to appear in court. I walked out of court victorious because the Judged realized the neglect from the Co-op Board and Management Company. The sponsor could not accept defeat so he brought the case to the Appellate Division and he still lost. I would recommend Nicholas M. Moccia to anyone seeking assistance dealing with a deadbeat Board of Directors, Management Company, and a slumlord sponsor. -Donna

Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
