I usually have very good service but it runs around 9:00,10:00,but today was it was 3:15, younger kid,no postal uniform, black shorts,?????? My husband use to deliver mail. What is going on ? I think Kansas City needs notified.
if you plan to work at this office, on BENNETT In springfield MO I FEEL FOR YOU! DO NOT DO IT! The two managers that are there, both men well they like to think they are men, but they are idiots. You have one thats been in the navy and with just that being said you catch my drift. Mr Know it all and thinks very high of himself. The other one is a lost puppy who talks way to much, likes to act like he knows what he is doing but has no idea. Not to mention he LOVES to Play the christian card. Listens to Christian "Godly" Music ALL DAY then of course pushes off to be someone else. He will be moving to Branson shortly so be aware there too. Sources have told me he will be going to Branson not sure how the hell he got that job. He DID screw over a new RCA Sub, that was working there for a short time. She was a very good carrier, she just needed time to get use to things. But he was harassing her, and wouldn't give her the light of day! SO he WRONGFULLY FIRED HER! He also set her up bc he was mad at her, BC she asked for a union REP for a meeting! So folks watch out. Its really sad that the postal service would hire people like this. They have no business being in this kind of place. So good luck to you all.

They truly need an option for 0 stars. One star is bust too much.It's been a few months but I've decided to write a well deserved review of this post office. Here's my experience: First, a friend sent me $500 money order that he owed me, in a letter. I never received this letter. I thought he was lying and made him resend an additional $500! He promised me he sent it, but I assured him I never got it and I trusted him but I honestly did not get it. So he reluctantly ended up sending me another $500. I think he thought I just really needed it bad and was asking him for more. I did need it bad, for rent, which was very irritating because I did not get it. Anywho, I'm expecting two packages weeks later worth $400 combined. These never come in. They were both from over-seas so I wait a month and a half for them to come in. Finally, I get the merchants to send me the tracking number. They both were "shipped" to my address with "my signature" confirmation weeks before! So I go to the post office and they will not do anything; they say they got signature confirmation. Could provide me with nothing to prove they were shipped to me. I asked to see the signature because I did not sign it and I had been home every day, in the living room, by the door- the days they were supposedly delivered on because I was out of work. They tracked down one and said GPS shows it was delivered to a different address on my street so maybe if our mailboxes are close that's why, I get home and the address is down the street from me. Either they delivered 3 packages to the WRONG address or the mail carrier forged my signature and stole my mail. Regardless they would do nothing for me and I lost $900 worth of money!!!!!!!! While I was out of a job! I went to the house and the neighbor said they hadn't received any mail.PLEASE NOTE: DURING THE 30 MINUTES I WAS AT THIS POST OFFICE MAKING MY COMPLAINTS:1) An elderly man walks in with a package and some bills saying he got someone else's mail but did not get the PRESCRIPTION medicine he was expecting in the mail. They misdelivered PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE to the wrong address. That means someone could have gotten his pain pills or something in the mail. Are you kidding me?2) Another lady walks in with a handful of mail furious saying she this is the 3rd time she has been there with someone else's mail THIS WEEK. She said, "Do I need to keep coming up here? Or do you want me to deliver it and do your job for you? Because this is the 3rd time this week you have given me someone else's personal mail."3) A foreign Asian man who didn't speak good English didn't get any mail he has been waiting on for 2 months.THIS IS ALL DURING THE 30 MINUTES THAT I WAS THERE WHILE THEY WERE TELLING ME THEY SHIPPED ME MY PACKAGES BECAUSE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.Why would ANYone pay extra for delivery confirmation when it means ***NOTHING***. No wonder they (USPS) are losing billions of dollars every year. WORST COMPANY EVER. I lost NINE HUNDRED dollars from them during a very difficult time in my life with NO repercussions.
MOSINEE POST OFFICE REVIEW.I do not know how all of you feel about the steady decline in our towns post office but I know there are a lot of unhappy folks receiving other peoples mail and long unnecessary lines at the post office window. with newly hired unqualified staff that treat residents like 2nd class citizens. Some issues at the mosinee post office that were discussed recently online between community members was the fact that folks needing to do postal business during normal operating hours cannot and the reason being john has ripped the lobby clock off the wall above the postmaster office. This done in a fit of rage because 10 minutes after official opening time the steel window was still close creating a huge line of customers nearly out the door. With the steel window closed you could hear john laughing and carrying on about his new truck, bla-bla -bla. Anyway he was told by customer --> A that she was going to be late for work and the time on her watch matched the huge postal clock on the wall and they need to have the post office open on time. John flipped a garbage can stood on it and ripped the clock down and said his watch was the correct time and he is actually early. Well we have 3 outstanding ladies at the mosinee post office who go out of there way to make things right , we all know who they are and I personally thank you for your service. The problems we are seeing now are a new employee transferred in because of the inability to be able to deal with customers or the ability to process more then 2 packages without a anxiety attack. For the most part we all work with this government agency to help improve there service because that just means we get out mail effectively and in a reasonable period of time. I am sure that john's fits of rage , ripping down lobby clock, yelling in front of customers , sitting at his desk when serious issues arise or slamming his door when patron asks him for help, along with walking off the job ! in the middle of a full lobby of customers ! With only one inexperianced customer support representative with a hostile attitude stands alone at the window . John leaves tells no one where he is going as the current staff try to make excuses for him. Yes gary this is called fraud or ghost payrolling which yes the postal inspector can get involved. What I and the residents , populous 2000 + are asking is standard basic service of some quality. Not asking for perfection just asking for a staff capable of going forth as a sworn postal worker and at least trying to help the community at large. We don't want to hear " sorry you have 3-4 packages 4 letters its over our ability to process that load so go somewhere else. We also do not want our postmaster to run and hide when there are issues.
