Cesar's Old Mexico
The lady at the counter did not understand what on the side means both items I asked for on the side where stuff in the burrito the burrito, when I asked about it she decided to bad-mouth me in Spanish so for the racist owner and their secret partner that is illegal, I hope your business fails

Pancho's Mexican Food
My goodness. This place was not good at all. I went through the drive through.it was much more expensive than I'd expected. Got it home and my husband and I barely ate 3 bites before tossing it. It was so greasy and just didn't taste like Mexican. I must mention that we are not picky eaters. But this was flat out gross. It was my husband's idea to try Pancho's out and he actually apologized. We should have gone to taco bell. I do not recommend it.

El Sombrero
I called in a carry out order to fajitas for 2. I get home and there was enough for one person to have 2 fajitas. So I call to ask what happened. The manager had the nerve to say well we rang in fajitas for 1. So i then proceed to say well that wasn't what I ordered. The lady manager then says well ma'am its your fault the right thing didn't get rang in. Are you serious?? How is that my fault. Ill never dine here again

Pancho's Mexican Food
This is below the worst fast food quality at casual sit-down dining prices. I will say that for the price, the portions are pretty large, but I'd rather have just a little good, carefully prepared food than a lot of lukewarm greasy slop. The cheese dip had a film on top that only comes from being prepared and sitting for a long time. Everything on my plate was cold and EVERYTHING was possibly the greasiest and oiliest food I've ever paid too much to not enjoy. The fish tacos had tartar sauce. The fish is almost definitely frozen. Nothing tasted fresh and it was all poorly prepared and served lukewarm. The staff was nice and the place was clean and they're open 24 hours a day, so there are advantages to eating here so long as you're ok with paper plates with plastic utensils. I will not be back.

Cesar's Old Mexico
Cesar's Old Mexico restaurant is a new entity on E. Sunshine St, We stopped in to check it out and OMG was it good. Through a mixup in communication, I thought I was ordering beef enchiladas, while our server thought I was ordering a carne asada with red sauce. When it came I was surprised, but it smelled so good, I decided to give it a go. It was GREAT! One of the best Mexican meals I've ever had.My wife had a tamale and chicken enchiladas with mole. She said it was the best Mexican meal she could remember.Needless to say, Cesar's Old Mexico is now our favorite Mexican restaurant in Springfield. BTW, one thing you should know is that it is authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex. Also, about half of the patrons eating there are Spanish speakers. I'm predicting Cesar's Old Mexico will have to move to bigger quarters before long.

Just a moment...
