Wig Chalet
When I was taking chemo, I badly needed a wig. I was frightened of my cancer and afraid to buy a wig. I just didn't want to have to go through it all. My best friend went with me to go wig shopping. We didn't go to The Wig Chalet until last because my friend had heard bad things about it. The first shop we went to had very little selection, high prices and the sales person was too busy talking on the phone to help me. The next one had a better selection, but I couldn't afford the one that interested me. The sales person suggested that if I couldn't afford her store, I should go to the Wig Chalet. But to be prepared to be charged to try on a wig. I almost didn't go, but I was desparate. When we got to the store I asked the sales person if they made any allowance for people with cancer on their try on charge. She looked at me, laughed and said, "I can't believe people write that crap on the internet about us!" She explained that they do have a 5 wig try on policy. After that there is a smalll charge which is refundable if you purchase. So I tried on 5 wigs, even though I had already decided on the one I wanted. It was the same one I'd seen at the other store, and $50 less! I had spent all day searching, afraid to go where I should have gone in the first place! Excellent selection, friendly service and great prices. I don't care what reviews you have read, go to the Wig Chalet
