Overseas & Domestic Auto Repair
I wish i could give more stars. My truck broke down when I was 500 miles from home. Even though they were busy, Delbert rearranged the shop's schedule and repaired my truck. I was back on the road in 2 hours. I gave overseas & Domestic's business card to my daughters who live in Springfield. They now have a place for their auto repair needs. Thank you.

Car Country Motors
Blown motor, still paying on the car. Spent 700 bucks to fix our problems before motor blew and still have issues. We go through about 2 bottles of power steering fluid a week on top of weekly payments. No matter your situation please don't buy here.

Family Auto Repair
Family Auto Repair is the best auto repair shop I've ever used. My wife and I have used them for a few years and they are outstanding. Once they fix a problem it stays fixed. Our car has 350,000 miles on it and it is still cruising down the road thanks to them. They charge a very fair price. They are the first mechanic I've ever been to that I've felt like I didn't pay them enough for the work they did. Our truck hit the age where it needed a new timing belt and the dealership was going to charge an incredible amount of money. Family Auto put in a new timing belt, fix a problem with a sticky brake, took care of a squeaky clutch, and ran a diagnostic on the air conditioner for less than half of what the dealership wanted just for the timing belt. When I told the owner how much the dealership was going to charge, he just shook his head. The truck has been running great with the new timing belt. When it comes to auto repair, Family Auto is definitely as good as it gets!

Corwin Dodge
I would not recommend this company! We purchased a truck and it broke down on our way home!! The sales person informed us Several times that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle ,and assured us that it was Dodge certified through a 125 point inspection. . The truck had well over $5000 worth of mechanical issues. Come to find out this is not a dodge certified vehicle. We were also told that all the open recalls had been taken care of, also NOT the case! Its now been almost a month and the truck is still not in our possession. It has been a horrible experience and the dealership had very little to say and was even less helpful!! My mother even called to pretend to want to buy a used dodge vehicle and was also informed that all of their used dodge vehicles are dodge certified . They will tell you anything you want to hear to get your money !!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
