Discount Tire
I'm having a very hard time with this business. I went here because I was told great things about this place but I've been disappointed everytime I go there. They told me my tire & rim needed to be replaced & the leaking of air (rapidly) would cease, so I did. 6 months later I'm still filling up this ONE tire every 2 weeks because it won't keep air in it. Not to mention, they put a locked lug nut on it & didn't bother giving the key to me so when I went else where to get a tire rotation done, I was charged for a tire rotation because they had my other tires off but the one Discount Tire did. Needless to say, I'm very unhappy. I just feel like they saw a stupid female coming & they got me.

Discount Tire
This place is great. My wife and I previously bought tires from Midas. They told us they were winter/snow tires, so we went to Discount Tires yesterday to get some all weather tires put on. Turns out what Midas had put on WERE ALREADY ALL-SEASON TIRES. Ben took the time to help us out, and instead of just taking our money and putting on new tires that we didn't need, he taught us about the tires we had, and the difference between snow tires and all-season tires. He even helped us get a free tire rotation! Done in 30 min! We know where we are going next time we need tires!

Lauterbach Tire & Auto Service
While in Springfield visiting family over Thanksgiving, my car developed a strange noise. I was referred to Lauterbach who was able to diagnose the problem and repair it the same day for a very reasonable price so my family and I could safely and confidently drive the nearly 1000 miles back to our home in Texas. Thanks guys. Great job!

Hiller Automotive
Came in with a gashed but drivable tire. Seth and his staff were able to fix it after Lauterbach told me that I have to replace the tire. The vehicle being an AWD would need a set to be replaced. In the meantime,Hiller was able to fix my tire and saved me a lot of money. Will be back if I need tire service again. Thanks, Hiller!

Pauls Garage
Paul's staff went over and beyond for our family. We were traveling through the area when we experienced car trouble. They were the only garage open and were willing to help after hours. They were knowledgeable and had reasonable prices. Thanks again for your kindness guys.

Pauls Garage
Paul and his staff have always been very professional. They are very reasonable with their prices. And they have dropped everything to help me when I was in a bind. If you want a mechanic who will give you the honest truth, without trying to up-sell.... It's Paul.

Not really trustworthy, they don't even bother to return your call. And they tell you not to worry that if they can't do the work they will be able too suggest someone who will but you have to just move on and find someone who will do what they say they will do.

Johnson & Johnson Auto Service
So glad they were still here when my daughter drove in to visit over Thanksgiving. They took care of her broken brake pads and shoes and had her on the road back to school by Saturday. Great service on a holiday week!

Lons Tire & Auto Clinic
I love this place. They've never sold me a bad tire or done a bad job. I won't go anywhere else for my tires. They do the trick if you don't want to spend the money on brand new tires. I recommend them to everyone!

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
