Old Luxemburg Inn
I am NOT a plant and I think lilly is one who complains about all of her dining experiences. I knew a guy like that once. You will get a great meal here at a most reasonable price. You can't beat their steaks. And the servers are prompt and helpful. If it is busy, you may have to wait some, but that is expected. You can tell about the food because the place if full of locals.

It is good to be greeted with smiles! Our host sincerely welcomed us and immediately brought us to our booth. Mycheala, our server, was pleasant and patient and made sure everything was right. The sausage patties are classically delicious and the grilled chicken patty with garlic butter sauce was comforting. A stop worth making!

The Corner Pub and Grill
The place is comfortable and hometown pub like. The prices were in line with the standard. I had the pot roast panini. It was as good as I hoped. It is not going to have a TV chef brag about it but if you try it you will be back again. The menu is varied and applealing. The waitress was friendly and efficent. I will go back

Chesapeake Seafood House
We had another wonderful evening at Chesapeake Seafood. The meal and service were exceptional. We live near Kansas City and have access to very nice restaurants. Everything tonight was just as good. We eat here every time we come to this area. We highly recommend the Chesapeake!

Charlie Parkers Diner
Stopped in for lunch and were pleased with what we had. We ordered two horseshoe style lunch plates, one turkey and one hamburger with sides. The diner is located inside a converted quonset hut from World War II, but the inside is decorated with lots of route 66 and 1950s stuff.

D'Arcy's Pint
Darcy's does make a good horse shoe. It always used to be my favorite, until I tried the Creek in Chatham. Their cheese sauce is even better than Darcy's. Darcy's is always busy, so sometimes it can take quite a while to get seated. The food is not a disappointment though.

I just had dinner at the old lux with my family and didn't have to wait for a table but would if I had to. The food was great and the servers were friendly. They have had ups and downs but you don't want to miss this place.
