Sam's Cafe
Sam's Cafe is a family friendly restaurant with Sichuan style food prepared as home-style cooking. Let's just say that the food is BANG. Everything from this place was legit. I think the mapo tofu, although a very typical dish was actually my favorite out of the 5 dishes we ordered (mapo tofu, orange chicken, green beans, double cooked pork, honey shrimp). The double cooked pork and the green beans were excellent. I could tell that this place will continue to do well. I suggest the owner hiring more waitress or waiters though. It's almost full during lunch time and one waitress is obviously not able to serve all the guests. But that's acceptable. Go check this place out. It's worth it. You will, however, leave the place smelling like you cooked it all yourself, a big indicator of good food in my opinion.Since the first time, I have ordered delivery and dined in store many times and it has become my favorite chinese restaurant in the loop.

Blake's Smokehouse
I doubt they staple the bag to keep you from checking your order. That being said, the food was okay, they put a lot of meat but as another review stated a lot of fat, no smoke ring and needed bbq sauce to help it along. It didn't suck, but not that great either. I would go back in a pinch just because its close and like I said it wasn't horrible, I've had worse and way more expensive, (Rudy's). Was a little pricey though 10 something for just a brisket sandwich and fries, everything is a la carte. Desperate need for parking. Overall meh.... I'd give it a second try.

Not sure what Mercedes was talking about. The pudding was full of bananas. Brisket was extremely tender and the guy up front was awesome! I just wish they would turn the lights on. I thought the place was closed at first. I'm going back for sure.

I tried the sliced brisket which was ok didn't really taste like much without BBQ sauce. I also paid 2.50 for banana pudding that didn't even have bananas in it. It was just pudding, 4 vanilla wafers, and whipped cream. Waste of money.

Jasper's Woodlands
our server had no menu knowledge. got our orders wrong and doesn't know the meaning of house wine. I got soup with no spoon. an entree with no knife. I really enjoyed the food but I'll have to make sure I get a better server next time.

Great atmosphere at a great location. The food, however, is not extraordinary for the cost. The Side by Side Steak Entree was expensive and not worth the extra expense. Avoid the truffle fries.

Grab N Go Tacos
The chicken wings and avocado eggrolls are to die for. I highly recommend their nachos as well, great for crowds to enjoy.

Papa Amadeus
Wonderful little out of the way place for great food. They had live entertainment on the night we stopped by.

Just a moment...
