GEICO Insurance Agent
Rachel exhibited a very pleasant and professional disposition while I was speaking with her on the phone. I truly appreciate that since most businesses nowadays don't know what customer service is.Thank you for being a company that still provides courteous service!

Hambrick Insurance
Great for giving policy and taking your money; horrible customer service.Strike 1: I was given a "direct" email contact to my agent. After Harvey (we received no damage), I wanted to add flood insurance. I was overseas at the time, so phone was not an option. I emailed for DAYS. No response. Once I got back to the States, I called, only to find out my agent had left the company and all my emails had gone unanswered. If an agent leaves, basic step 1 is to have their emails forwarded to a general email address where the emails can be picked up by another agent. I did not know if they were out of business, I didn't know if my agent had a medical condition, NOTHING. Strike 2: I received a lower premium from another insurance carrier. Strike 3: When I went to cancel my insurance, my new agent told me that my emails ended up in her junk email. What? Say that again?? Your clients' emails are going to your junk email? I had her verify that it wasn't just my emails, but a number of other customers. Huh?!?! That's interesting, considering my previous emails leading up to my cancellation request (I had asked for a new quote on a new policy) were answered promptly with no issues. But once I had requested a cancellation, my 5 emails had mysteriously started to end up in her junk mailbox. These were a combination of emails with and without attachments. One stating the request in email form, another with a SIGNED document attachment, and multiple emails requesting acknowledgement of the previous requests. Heck, I just wanted to know if they were received and were being looked into. Apparently not because they were now going to junk email.Furthermore, I called the underwriter, and they confirmed that Hambrick had not reached out to them for the cancellation request (over two weeks). Just to repeat that one more time - CLIENTS' EMAILS WERE BEING SENT TO JUNK EMAIL FOLDERS. Shame. No way to run a business.

Farmers Insurance - Keith Wagner
I was a long-time customer when a Wagner agent made a mistake with my auto policy that left one of my cars uninsured. Agent had apparently sent me an email with a question about my coverage options, but I didn't receive it. Agent never bothered to follow-up with me when she didn't get a response back to her email. When the problem was eventually discovered, Keith Wagner refused to accept any responsibility for the error.

Be careful with Jame Sloan Insurance Company! Not the best when dealing with cancellation policies. He will do anything possible to retain his commission.... very unprofessional!!

Lamberth Mark Insurance Agency
I am not sure why I bother with reviewing this person except that he was my insurance agent for almost twenty years and I paid him over forty thousand dollars in premiums and during Hurricane Ike he used unprofessional slight of hand to reduce my claim and not cover all the damage., He cost me over ten thousand dollars out of my own pocket to make my home livable again. Here is the technique that he used so note well. After two weeks of calling him and Farmer's they sent an adjuster out. He was not local and after this visit I could not contact him again. We went over and around my property which by that time I had already cleared myself of over thirty downed trees. He took notes and then cut me a small check to get by for a time. My bank is a thousand miles from here and that was a pain but I understand. But what they failed to note was the fine print which released them from liability. As I began reroofing, replacing support beams, replacing many broken windows which I had taped up, they sent another check which did not nearly cover the expenses. When I complained they send another adjuster and then another and another...altogether about a dozen so that details fell through the cracks and my ongoing repairs were never accounted for. SO my suggestion to record and document every word that they say either in person or on the phone to prevent them from this slight of hand. When the adjuster visits do a walk through with a video camera and make sure he speaks clearly so when you have to sue them your lawyer will have all the evidence to make them keep their promises.
Tips & Advices
Business insurance generally covers accidental property damage, accidents resulting in injuries to employees or customers, the products you sell, or copyright issues.
One way to reduce premium costs on boat insurance is to take a boating safety course, since many insurance companies offer discounts to policyholders with this credential. You'll also pay lower rates if you maintain a safe boating record. Older boats are more expensive to insure, so it is possible to save money on boat insurance by buying a newer vessel.
It's typically recommended that boat owners get at least $1,000,000 in liability coverage. Property damage costs and medical bills can burdensome, and this coverage will protect from liability in accidents in which you're at fault. For collision and comprehensive coverage, get enough protection to reimburse you for the value of the boat.
Typically, a boat insurance policy provides coverage for anyone that the policyholder allows to operate the boat. However, this may sometimes vary from insurance company to insurance company. If you plan on letting others operate your boat, it's a good idea to discuss this with your insurance broker to make sure this is covered.
Some insurance companies offer boat insurance that covers damage by storms and hurricanes, but this kind of coverage might not be a standard part of a policy’s coverage. If you want this kind of protection, tell an  insurance broker.
