Not that we wanted to have to visit an emergency clinic but after our car accident we had no choice so our choice was First Choice! We were greeted with smiles, concerns and with immediate attention. \r Every person we came in contact with took such great care of us and fully explained what was going to happen and finally a quick an immediate explanation of all results.\r When we needed information for work, our Primary Care Physician and our insurance company everything was ready for immediate pick up! \r They are also there for any other kind minor emergencies as well. While I was there one time, a lady came in with really bad allergies and not only greeted her by name but took immediate care of her. She told me she only goes to First Choice because of the attentiveness and great care they have provided.

I was so shocked at the unprofessionalism that was shown to my husband. He went into the emergency room with pain in his right leg, dizziness, and difficulty walking. He was in for 3 days and nothing was done to his leg pain, an infectious disease Dr. came in and told him he had what looked like cellulitis, a tissue infection. On the third day they released him and gave him some antibiotics to take by mouth. His leg was so infected that his PCP told him to get himself into another hospital, he had to have intravenous max. strength antibiotics for 6 days. He could have lost his leg if he hadn't went to his PCP after being released from this hospital. I was so disappointed in this fairly new hospital.

canceled my procedure at this facility and am changing my gastro dr because this place refuses to accept the detailed health history taken by the physician assistant at Dr. Winkelstein's office. I spent the greater part of a morning at a pre-procedure visit detailing my history to this very competent, highly trained professional. With one signature this history could be whisked electronically to the endoscopy center. Instead, making an already unpleasant proceure even more distasteful, they want me to go online and detail my history again. When I spoke with them, Steve, the so-called customer service representative tried to blame HIPAA and 'the government.' When I explained to him that one of the purposes of electronic medical records was to make them easily portable he told me that I could just change doctors. So, I will. Sorry, Dr.W. You have been very kind to me but your front office staff is less than helpful and the facility you use is decidedly behind the times!

The Acrual hospital was great but the valet parking was terrible. They left my vehicle idling for 30 minutes with the window down as the went to park other vehicles that arrived after mine. I will park myself after today!

The staff was friendly, my husband had outpatient surgery in November. We were required to pay cash and were told to request an itemized invoice later so we could file an insurance claim. This was thousands of dollars. However getting an itemized invoice which would list out the items that are reimbursable from our insurance appears to be non-existent. Several phone calls have not been returned. Today, after three months I was told another company does the invoices and that Apollo can't help me. The number I was given also is not answered by a human and I had to leave a number which I have no confidence will be returned. This place has cost us a lot of money.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but I'll settle on the 1. I took my sister here last night around 10 o'clock. We got in and were seen pretty quickly, which was a major plus. However, the nurse she was given was rude and hateful towards her; she had no bedside manner. I never like to pull the race card but in this situation I think it was because we were black. And the not so funny part about it, so was the nurse! She treated my sister like she was some piece of gutter trash that crawled out of a ditch with no insurance. When she initially came into the room she was acting funny but we wanted to give her the benefit of doubt. Then when it was time to administer medicine to my sister, the nurse just threw out commands, not informing her of what the medicine was or possible side effects should her body not take to whatever it was she was giving her. The nurse gave my sister some pink kind of liquid that clearly was unsettling as she was near regurgitating whilst she was drinking it, and then literally snatched the cup out of my sister’s hand and threw it in the trash on her way out of the room. At this point I'm thinking: let's just get the heck out of here. And we were almost home free after we were discharged but my sister couldn’t breathe as soon as she got to the car. We were standing outside for nearly 15 minutes because she did not want to deal with that nurse again, but when she bent over at the waist like she was going to pass out, I went back in to get help. And do you know what happened? I’m sure you can figure it wasn’t pleasant. The same nurse told me that my sister needed to find the best way she could to come back in there, after I had already told her that my sister could not move. I have never in my life not seen nurses take action when someone said they couldn’t breathe. The nurse wouldn’t even get off her behind to bring a wheelchair outside to get my little sister; I had to assist her inside. And to top that off, she made my sister wait at least 3 minutes before deciding to open the door to look at her. Top that off, yet again, she told my sister, and I quote: “There was nothing on your x-rays so stop crying.” As if my sister is some child she can give a sit down to. We should have left then, but I was too concerned for my sister to worry about this nurse’s bad attitude. We go back to the room she originally was in and the nurse is even worse. She talked to my sister even more rudely, snatched the EKG off her chest and threw her arm with the IV in it. At this point I am livid and when the nurse came back in and seen my face, she knew it. She started talking sweeter but in a snarky kind of way. My sister was ready to just get out of there after they helped her breathe normally again. Get this: the doctor told my sister she caused the reaction by bending over. Well, HELLO, the nurse did not tell my sister what she could and could not do after taking that medicine. When we were getting ready to leave the second time, the nurse gave my sister instructions and told her what she should and should not be eating and drinking, something that should have been said before we left the first time! I don’t know where this nurse gets off, but everything she did last night with my sister was absolutely unacceptable. The doctor was really nice, but I've never had to deal with any nurse like her and never want to again. We will never go back to this place and will never recommend it to anyone.
