Sam's Cafe
Sam's Cafe is a family friendly restaurant with Sichuan style food prepared as home-style cooking. Let's just say that the food is BANG. Everything from this place was legit. I think the mapo tofu, although a very typical dish was actually my favorite out of the 5 dishes we ordered (mapo tofu, orange chicken, green beans, double cooked pork, honey shrimp). The double cooked pork and the green beans were excellent. I could tell that this place will continue to do well. I suggest the owner hiring more waitress or waiters though. It's almost full during lunch time and one waitress is obviously not able to serve all the guests. But that's acceptable. Go check this place out. It's worth it. You will, however, leave the place smelling like you cooked it all yourself, a big indicator of good food in my opinion.Since the first time, I have ordered delivery and dined in store many times and it has become my favorite chinese restaurant in the loop.

Taco Maker
Whatever you do, keep driving! I stopped by on a Sunday, 1:30pm and ate in the restaurant. Restaurant was clean and nice looking. Ordered a fajita chicken taco plate and service was quick. Now the bad news, the fajita chicken was more pale than Lady Gaga and had no taste whatsoever. Tortillas were like rubber, hard to tear and chew. Shredded lettuce was that color when it is turning from green to brown. Looked like it had been run over by cars on FM 2920. Diced tomatoes were old. Best thing on the plate were the 5 chips, re-fried beans, and sour cream. At over $9.00 I feel violated by this horrible excuse for food. Taco Bell is gourmet compared to this place. Yuck!

Las Ramadas Mexican Grill
My hubs and I have tryed several local Mexican Restuarante, and let me tell you the people that posted that review could not have been more WRONG!! We LOVE LOVE IT!!! Service is awesome! Drink specials are absolutely fabulous!! We have taken several friends there, and now they are regulars also!! Seriously!! This place has THE best food. And portions well let's just say we can easily make their one meal into 2 or 3!! Love it there!!! Maybe those folks had it wrong and were looking for Perrys or Landrys or something. But believe me it's worth it even if you have to drive! ; ]loving it!krissy

Blake's Smokehouse
I doubt they staple the bag to keep you from checking your order. That being said, the food was okay, they put a lot of meat but as another review stated a lot of fat, no smoke ring and needed bbq sauce to help it along. It didn't suck, but not that great either. I would go back in a pinch just because its close and like I said it wasn't horrible, I've had worse and way more expensive, (Rudy's). Was a little pricey though 10 something for just a brisket sandwich and fries, everything is a la carte. Desperate need for parking. Overall meh.... I'd give it a second try.

Gerlands Food Fair Inc
The store is immaculately clean and well organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a great variety of merchandise. I have found many bargains there. You just have to look and compare prices with other stores. For instance, green peppers, cucumbers, and onions are all lower priced than three other stores I shop at. Periodically their papayas go on sale for 88 cents a pound. This beats many other stores price. I have found boneless skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.44 a pound in the past.

Doug Paschal: Allstate Insurance
I have used Doug Paschal & Allstate since 1980. He is more than a insurance agent , he became a trusted friend. His christian faith really shines through in his business practice. Honest and moral man who has always put my best interests 1rst, not his commissions. Very highly recommended !!!

Rico's Mexican Grill
Food is typical Tex Mex. Nothing outstanding, but still good. My rating is mostly influenced by my service I came at 2, and there was only one other table here. It took 5 minutes for my server to acknowledge me. Then another 5 before my order was taken.

Cilantro's Mexican Grill
Best Mexican in the spring/woodlands area. You can taste freshness in the tortillas, rice and beans are very rich, and food bursts w flavor. I always ask for Ramiro and he never fails to be welcoming, get my food out fast, and provide friendly service!

Tips & Advices
Some immigration processes can take months or even years to resolve. USCIS posts an online list for each field office that shows current processing times for common applications, such as ones for permanent residency, citizenship and proof of citizenship. These estimates provide a sense of the current backlog. An immigration attorney will usually monitor these timelines for you and communicate any updates.
An immigration lawyer might request copies of numerous documents, including a birth certificate, passport, letters from employers, proofs of address, income tax returns and photos/correspondence with family (if you are applying for an immigration benefit via a spouse or family member).
Yes, if you want them to. While an attorney cannot directly answer a USCIS agent’s questions, he or she can provide support and clarification during the interview. Having an attorney present is generally a good idea if you are involved in a complex immigration case.
Yes, for applications such as an adjustment of status (for example, going from a tourist visa to a green card) and citizenship, it is usually a good idea to agree upon a fixed rate that covers all paperwork and responses to evidence requests. This can save you money compared to an rate based on billable hours.
Fee schedules vary significantly depending on the case type. Immigration lawyers usually charge for both the required application fees from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and for their services. Longer, more complex cases such as deportation defenses are more expensive than simpler matters like completing a citizenship application.
