Bright Now Dental
They give you a price, you pay it, and then half way through they tell you that they want $600 more then what the original paperwork stated. Dentist said he must not have explained himself correctly. Apparently your paperwork didn't understand either. They are a huge ripoff. Took my mother 6 months to get her apparently(temporary dentures). Don't waster your time or money here!!!!!!!

The Gentle Dentist
Dr Lash is a great dentist and his staff is always so friendly. Also, the front desk always greats you with a smile. Hygienists are so friendly and pain free!! I've had painless fillings completed here and would highly recommend this office for your dental needs! :-) He doesn't treatment plan a lot of unnecessary things or "push" people into having work done. He is actually concerned for peoples dental care and overall oral health.

Aspen Dental
Went in for a second opinion and loved the frankness, honesty and all the options I was given! Dr. Lee "LISTENED TO ME" - and I will be a patient forever!!! The entire staff is professional in a casual, friendly way and I enjoyed everyone.I like that EVERYTHING is done there, extractions, cleaning, etc.I expected, after the extractions to be miserable - on the contrary - it wasn't bad at all. Liked it there sooooo much - I have both my sons going there too!I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

This dentist and his staff are AMAZING!!! They all have big hearts and very kind, unfortunately I had to get top dentures and it has been a trauma for me to accept but Dr. and his staff were absolutely wonderful and by my side with support and smiles. I recommend this dentist, they all feel like family. My dentures are beautiful.

Akel Dental
Give us an appointment on a memorial day, after I drove for 45 miles just found they closed without even inform the people they have appointments already. Although when they give me that date appointment I ask if they were open on a memorial day the front desk lady confirm that!Never will be there again.

Santa-Cruz, Raymond A, DDS
I have nothing but praise for this dentist. I am so glad I found him as he is very gentle with the needle and very careful and thoughtful in his work. I have had extensive work done by him so far and am still in the process of having 2 more crowns. The only problem at times is that he might be over-booked but in any case, he is totally worth the wait! I have a fear of dentists because of bad experiences but I feel very safe and confident in his care. On top of it all, Dr. Santa Cruz served our country in the Navy and is currently serving in the Reserves!

Skipper, Jay M, DDS
I saw Dr. Skipper at Value Dental in Crystal River this past Tuesday due to a chipped front tooth. He was so informative about what was needed and why. His personality only enhanced the entire experience. Dr. Skipper is comical, friendly, and explanation. I would suggest anyone needing work done see him. We all want a dentist that makes us feel at ease. He did that and more. His assistant was equally as friendly. Value Dental and Dr. Skipper makes for a great combination!
Tips & Advices
While going to the orthodontist can be difficult, sometimes it's necessary. If you are concerned about tooth alignment, feel your jaw shift, or are experiencing problems like difficulty chewing or grinding your teeth, it's time to see an orthodontist.
There are generally three types of braces patients can be fitted for at the orthodontist:
  • The more traditional option, bands, wrap around most of a patient's tooth.
  • Brackets are the most popular, applied directly to the tooth in metal or plastic form.
  • Lingual braces are brackets attached to the back of teeth.
People of all ages can wear braces to straighten their teeth, but it is most common to be fitted for these adjustments between the ages of 10 and 14. This is the time when teeth are better able to be straightened because the head and mouth are still developing.
The American Board of Orthodontics recommends finding a dental specialist that is board-certified, offers free or reduced-price consultations, and displays qualities such as trustworthiness, ability to communicate effectively, and attentiveness.
Orthodontists must complete a four-year undergraduate program to gain admission to dental school. After earning a Doctor of Dental Science degree at an accredited four-year dental program, students must then either complete a post-degree training program or one to two years residency in orthodontics. Then they need to earn a state license in order to practice. Certain states also require board certification.
