River Rock Apartments
The apartments have a great layout, are nicely updated and affordable. The maintenance responds quickly. However, the tenants living in most of these apartments are low class. They have no respect for the grounds or anybody around them. My neighbors were constantly breaking every health code violation and every rule that the complex had, I constantly complained to management and although they were polite and understanding, they did absolutely nothing about it. Little kids run around the parking lot unattended and nobody picks up after themselves, leaving spills, trash and personal belongings in the hallways where I have to pass through to get to my apartment. When I moved out of the apartment, I left it completely spotless and in perfect condition, I was shocked, when I didn’t receive my full deposit back and I was charged with things like “light bulbs” that last time I checked are considered normal wear and tear. I’ve never dealt with any apartment complex that nickle and dimed you. This could be a great place to live if it was run by better management and people who actually took pride in their surroundings.

Deer Creek Apartments
I had a lot to chose from when I was transferred to Fairchild AFB. My wife and I are not from this area and we looked at over 9 different apartments before choosing Deer Creek Apartments and I can say that we made the right choice. Our apartment is incredibly big, fully loaded, with an awesome bay window and even better neighbors. Everyone at the office has been more than helpful in making our move to Spokane a positive experience. They understand the issues that military persons face when moving to a new area and they go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
