While it's rather easy to find a mediocre place to eat, it can be difficult to find a great place to eat. Genos Pizza & Italian Food is one of those great places. The scent of home-cooked "Italy" grabs you from the street and the menu inludes all our favorite mouth-watering Italian dishes (and more). Genos is definitely worth waiting for . . . it seems everybody lines up around the restaurant on a busy night. As a added "extra", the service is impressive; they treat you like family and this foodie likes being treated like family. In a town that needs more great food, Genos stands out.

I stumbled across this pub during a walk and was immediately drawn into it by the name and a long but inviting downward stairway that lead into (what appeared to be) a very clean and well-polished dungeun. As soon as I reached the bottom of the stairs I was greeted by the glow of lights and even a fireplace. It was earthy, with quarry rock walls and old brick; yet warm and cozy with huge chandeliers mounted to large wooden beams high above and new hardwood flooring at your feet. All it needed were flaming torches mounted to the walls. The menu selection seemed somewhat limited though all sounded tasty. 'Old-world' dinner entrees and brick-oven pizzas are the norm. I found myself enjoying the surroundings as much as I did the Hungarian Goulash and bread. It was obvious that everyone else there enjoyed the atmosphere too!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is very good, better than I expected, and the pitchers of beer are very cheap. I went here twice over the course of three days and loved it both times.
19.One Bridge North
1817 N Division St
Out of all the places I've been to or hung out at One Bridge North has been the most fun and entertaining. I've been a regular at this bar for over 23 years and I don't even drink. But it just goes to show you that you don't have to drink to have fun at One Bridge.

Used to hang out there when I lived in Spokane, and was always treated well (okay, the one bartender thought I was a cannibal and kinda shied away-but otherwise...). The food was excellent, and if you stuck to the specials the prices were too. Cheap beer, and lots of it. They don't draw the best bands-but nobody in Spokane really does. Lots of Gonzaga kids in there, so it gets loud on the weekends. Overall, a good place, really. -Chuck

ORL is awesome. I come from the north side to see the best bartender in town IMHO. The owners are great and the regulars are welcoming. Definitely a place to try out I matter where in Spokane you live.
25.Rick's Ringside Pub

THIS IS A FUN BAR AND CATERS TO ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE. RELAX, HAVE A DRINK AND BE WHO YOU ARE, NOONE CARES.
919 W Sprague Ave
Only in Spokane can a live music venue get away with such a horrible live music experience. They have recently closed off the smoking area and do not allow people to go outside. The bar area is over crowded and the bartenders pour small portions at expensive prices. The stage sound is unbalanced and random feedback happens throughout the performances. I have seen at least thirty shows here and the experience has progressively gotten worse. I have tickets for one more show and do not plan on going back, I would rather drive to Seattle or Portland. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
825 W Riverside Ave
First time I went in there I waited around for someone to come over to me, after 5 minutes, no one did. No parking, you have to feed the meter quarters if you wanna park close by. that is if u can find a space. If one is a football worshiper and actually thinks bar food is good food. Then you may like it. Owner is arrogant and rude. I would not go back or if i did. I would not tip bartenders. I am not sure why delivering me a beer and a burger deserves a tip.
29.Big Daddy's Bar & Grill
3023 E 28th Ave
As I walked in, I was very hopeful. The facility is beautiful! But my good experience ended there. I sat down at their Pai Gow table and bought in for $200. The 2 pit bosses at the time both walked straight to my table and stared at me while I made my bets. I won 50 on the first hand and I could see the dealer glance at the pit boss nervously. I won a few more hands and when I tipped the dealer, she looked like she was terrified to take it in front of ""Dan the pit boss"". After the next dealer came to my table, I saw ""Dan the pit boss"" scolding the dealer for who knows what. It made me feel bad for winning. One of the other dealers confessed to me that if they pay out, the could get suspended or even fired. They all looked stressed out and it killed my good time honestly. Also, I ordered a Corona and when it was brought to me it was 5.25!!! Who can afford to drink there at those prices?! Later i asked for some juice and they tried to charge me 3!!! This is a casino!! Shouldn't juice be free? I was so turned off between the dealers being afraid to pay me, and the nickel and diming of the customers that I left. They need new management or a new attitude. How are we supposed to feel comfortable if the employees are walking on eggshells? The managers need to go. Great dealers/servers though. I promise I'll never go back. Your money will go farther elsewhere anyway. Way overpriced.

This place is full of idiots! I can personally tell you neither I or any of the people in my complex which is right down the street is ever going here again. They refused to take my sons vertical ID that he got before he was 21 actually a Washington State drivers license was refused due to it being vertical. But we were told we can go get any other type of ID that is not vertical as long as I have a picture of you, a birthdate and your name. What that sounds to me like she was saying go home print something, laminate it and come back pretty much it felt like she was saying that's why she told us what to put on it! Ridiculous and illegal! A valid Washington state drivers license that is vertical and says your over 21 is no different than a horizontal on saying the same! If that was the case, as the rudest bartender ever was telling me it was common practice, how would any 21-year-old go out on their 21st birthday?
