We actually had been heading to a different restaurant but couldn't find it, so we decided to try Trulucks. We got there around 5:45pm and were greeted by a well dressed and friendly manager who just happened to be in the vestibule. We were immediately seated by a cordial hostess, and within 1 or 2 minutes our waitress showed up to pour us some fabulous water, and then asked if we had been there before or needed time to peruse the menu. We did and so she allowed us some time to do that, as we studied the menu another waitress came and brought some bread and we selected a sample of wine to which she suggested an alternative sample. She brought both and we chose her selection which was extremely delicious and reasonably priced. Our original waitress then showed up with a tray of crab to show us the different selections and ALSO gave prices, it was nice not having to ask or for her to just assume we would be willing to spend our entire savings on a plate of dinner food. Again, the prices were reasonable and I chose the Alaskan king crab leg, it was HUGE and I was hungry. My husband ask a few questions about three things he was interested in and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable and about the dishes and made suggestions that helped him decide what to order, he chose the Steak au Poivre which is a pepper crusted filet of beef. We opted not to order any appetizers or salad just to be sure we had room for the entree' and were happy to sip wine and nibble the wonderful bread, he focused on the white bread while I ate the cinnamon walnut which was fresh, warm and delicious.\r \r There was a pianist (a very good one I might add) playing somewhere in the dining room and the noise level was ""energetic"" , yet we were able to carry on conversation easily or stop to listen. Our food came and I have to tell you we were NOT disappointed. The crab was scrumptious and the steak was cooked to perfection. We are only sorry we didn't have room for dessert, next time.

Awesome spicy battered chicken strips! Ridiculously good cheese fries! Only two draw backs: 1- It just can't be that healthy to eat their cheese fries, nothing that good is good for you 2- Town Center can be a zoo and the wait there can be a pain. But every once in while you have to throw health to the wind, relax for the wait and get their cheese fries loaded with jalapenos, bacon and chives, mmmm.

I have eaten at this restaurant dozens of times since they opened. Sometimes just my wife and I, sometimes with kids in tow. We have never had a negative experience. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is better than average for this type of restaurant. Ambience and people watching are unparalleled. Try it once and you'll agree. HINT: Weekend dinner hours expect to wait 1-2 hours. Make a reservation a few days in advance.

My husband and I went by the factory yesterday while enjoying our Sunday afternoon. We both got some cheesecake of course, but Jennifer was the thing that made the day. She was a very pleasant person to encounter. We go out often and most wait people are less than kind. They seem put off but not Jennifer. Thanks for the great service. Oh and she needs to try the White Chocolate Raspberry.

Eat there once per week and keep trying new menu items-- just to see if I can find something I DON'T like. I'll let you know-- been half a year now and everything I try is excellent-- this coming from someone who worked in the food industry for quite a while. Everyone who has served me has been courteous and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the patrons are happy. This place is great for a casual business lunch, group meeting, or a very nice dinner. Very flexible. Outstanding patio with outdoor fireplace and very well stocked bar complement the well-thought-out interior. Lighting is perfect-- not too bright, not too dark. Overall-- a great place.

Great food. Service gets slow on busier nights like the weekends, but it is well worth it. Not good if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere. NOT for parties of 2 or 3. Take friends, take family, kid friendly. Ideal for big parties. Love the family style portioning, and all of the waiters and waitresses are fun, honest, and polite. I asked my waiter for an honest opinion on a dish, and they admitted to having never tried it, but explained that in their experience people didn't like it. While some people may find that unprofessional, that is exactly what I look for in a waiter, and what I look for in employees I hire for my own business. It's like having a friend there to make the decisions and be honest. They are trying to sell the best meal for YOU personally. I have never had less than wonderful service or food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My husband and I love sushi and we're very picky about where we eat it. Kobeya is the best for fresh, new, and creative sushi! We love the Shrimp Tempura roll and we add spicy mayo to it, It is amazing! The price is fantastic! The rolls are large and I'm so full after the first. I also love their filet mignon. It basically melts in your mouth! We eat here at least once a week, and we have never been let down! Their lunch menu is so cheap, so it makes it easier to eat there often! Their lunch menu is also available on Sundays. If you are looking for a great eat, you should definitely check out Kobeya, you won't be disappointed! Nothing compares!

After my first visit, this is one of my favorite places to eat now, The Taco Diner in Southlake, Tx. Provided me with THE BEST customer service ever, Nazario my food server helped me pick some of the best Tacos I’ve eaten in a loooong time, I had the Brisket Tacos with their home made Spanish Rice & one of their appetizers, the Ceviche De Camaron with a delicious Mango Agua Fresca, I spoke with The manager Paula and she explained to me how they always pick the freshest ingredients & that their secret to their delicious salsas is 1 Fresh produce, 2 Always made daily, and 3 of curse she helps their Chefs make the salsas, I would highly recommend to go by and give them a try if you are by Southlake

This is my very favorite restaurant!! I have actually loved every single item I have ever ordered here. This is the only place I can say that about. The waitstaff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. As a customer, I am a bit of a pain, because I am on a special diet and my son is on a separate special diet, so we have to ask about all the ingredients. This had always been meet with cheerful and thorough information at Fish City! There is always something new I want to try on the specials board! Great food and drink specials on certain days/times. Cozy informal atmosphere, but quiet enough to be a good date place too. Great good, great staff, great prices!! I love this place!

Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to, and I have been to many around Europe and America. Toppopcorn who posted below me obviously did not eat at this restaurant as the managers name is not Emily, I am a frequenter as this restaurant and head sushi chef Sean is friendly and knowledgeable, and the management will help you out if any problems ary. Prices are reasonable if you don't order all special rolls and stick to california rolls or 2 piece sushi's, although I highly recommend trying the special rolls as they are fabulous. I would not however recommend heading over there on the weekends (fri, sat) as this family friendly restaurant (they offer kids food and food for non sushi-ites) gets crammed and you will be put on a waiting list for at least 10-15 minutes, with a maximum wait of around half an hour. \r Highly recommended, definitely check out this gem, or their sister restaurant Lava Grill if you live further away from Southlake Lava Grill has a higher selection of other asian foods.

Wanted to sit and relax after a very hard days work and just have someone else cook my dinner. Walked in Del Frisco's ask for a table for one. The hostess looked at me and yelled "we only have seating for one at the bar, you can sit upstairs or down." I walked out! I have never been so embarrassed - i guess if you are a party of one you don't get to sit at a real table- feeling hungry, just going home and going to bed-

We went in at 11:30 for a quick lunch on a Sunday. After we ordered the waitress told twice that our food would right out, the next thing the manager comes to our table and apologizes for the delay, but states she doesn't know why(the last thing she should admit). Soon the food arrives and it's OK, but there are 15-20 restaurants within 2 miles that serve better food faster. On the way out 4 hostesses are grouped at the front door and ask us if it was good, we reply "not especially" to which one of them makes a snarky comment about our age. In short if you are over 30 don't expect any real service.
