Your Time Out Therapeutic & Hot Stone Massages
JC is a Godsend simply the best amazing My name is Charles Wright I live in Grosse Ile Michigan. I first met JC over 2 years ago after my shoulder surgery I developed some complications after the surgery and had not slept for almost a week. I had tried multiple treatments to resolve the awful pain I was experiencing and nothing worked pain killers, Muscle relaxants and electric stimulation at the physical therapist. Nothing seemed to work and I was desperate that’s when I went to visit JC and she was a Godsend. After the first visit I had instant relief and was able to get some sleep. JC is not just a massage therapist she is someone who is a consummate professional who is extremely knowledgeable and can bring that knowledge to bear in providing relief to people who are suffering; she is extremely compassionate and kind. Over the last two years she has increased my physical well being allowing me to be able to enjoy life much more. You don’t have to be suffering from an ailment to benefit from JC’s ability and knowledge.I have been visiting JC an average of twice a month for the last two years. I look forward to all our sessions because I travel extensively for a living, I am on airplanes and hotels which are extremely tough on the body JC brings my body back into balance. JC is a healer and a friend and my life is better because of her.

Your Time Out Therapeutic & Hot Stone Massages
Go see MINDY at Your Time Out! Over the holiday weekend I went to Your Time Out and had Mindy as my massage therapist and what a treat! I couldn't give a higher recommendation!I had a bit of a cold and added stress going into the holiday season. Mindy sincerely relieved both with peppermint oil and a hot stone massage. The scalp massage alone would be a direct gift from heaven and with the peppermint oil made all my sinus drain. I felt amazing throughout the entire weekend of holiday travel.Mindy's hot stone massages are therapeutic, relaxing, and superior to any other I've received before. She was able to find injuries in my shoulder from years back and relieve pain that has been there for years. She will ask "is this to hard, hot, etc" throughout your massage. If you are looking to treat yourself or someone else, please book with Mindy!!!!

Your Time Out Therapeutic & Hot Stone Massages
I have been going to Your Time Out since it moved to its current location late in 2003. Prior to that I had been getting massages since the mid 80's. As a registered occupational therapist I am aware of the benefits of therapeutic massage but went mainly to relax and ease my sore muscles. Recently, I have been getting therapeutic messages on a monthly basis. What I have benefited from these sessions is a decrease in the stiffness and mobility in my joints and an increase in my range of motion and flexibility. This allows me to participate in more physical activities for longer periods of time. I appreciate my therapist's knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and ways to enhance and facilitate its functioning. I wouldn't miss my monthly appointment!

Emily gives a great massage.I get regular massages and she is one of the best. I was sore from excersing and she worked out all the knots. The massage was a combination of strength with relaxation. I will definitely be returning to Emily and will be recommending her to all my tired and stressed friends who I have no doubt will be grateful to find her.. Emily is courteous and respectful and I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone with pain, stress or aches to go visit her.

Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
