Received over 5 calls from an insurance solicitor saying that they gathered my information and need to verify it with me to receive quotes. However, I never requested this!Had my home and auto insurance with Auto-Owner's in Michigan. Never, once, did I have a problem with them and I was told by the salesman/agent speaking to me that they have better top carriers to give me quotes with. I was apprehensive to say the least.They said they'd found carrier for my insurance at a cheaper rate. They then had me call Auto-Owner's to tell them to increase my coverages on my car to Liability coverage to 100/300 (which sounded strange) in order to would qualify for this policy. Next day, they had me cancel with Auto-owners and give them payment. I needed a second opinion so I took it to my previous local agent first. Not only did he find that their agent didn't give me full coverage for my car but, he said that they should never tell you to change you current plan to get 'a better rate'.

This outfit is just like most insurance companies. I was injured 25 months ago and all I get is the runaround. Trying to get out of paying benefits,even though I am disabled. Thousands owed to hospital, and 0 wages for 2 Years. We are about to lose our home !!!!!! Star insurance. HELP please.

My name is Rev. Jerrick Jefferson . On Tuesday, Maay 19th 2015 I called this agency and spoke with an agent named Orlandis. The conversation started out with Orlandis implying that I was trying to do something illegal. I gave him the benfit of the doubt. However, the situation got worst. Orlandis said that because I live in the "hood" my rates would be high. At this point he took the remaining of my personal information and said that he would call me back. That call never happened. When I called back Orlandis said that he just got back from lunch and would get to me whenever he can. I indicated to him that I had taken off of work to process insurance at which time he said "well I will get to you before I leave today" I called back to complain to management at which time another agent as opposed to transferring me to management transferred me to Orlandis whom began to try to talk me out of complaining. I finally spoke with Lisa whom indicated to me that Orlandis behavior was not how their office operated. I believe that Orlandis discriminated against me because I as he said "live in the hood" I was mistreated and looked over due to his perception of a black male obtaining insurance. I demand the agency turn over their phone recordings to the State of Mi Attorney General as well as their corporate office. Orlandis should be fired for behavior unprofessional and discriminatory. Although, Orlandis is a black male he is operating under racist rules due to the great divide in the insurance industry with regards to black males and black people in general. I demand a full investigation through the state of MI Attorney General as well as the corporate office. No agency should exist to discriminate. Anyone that has experienced horrible service from this agency , Orlandis in particular should contact The State Of MI Attorney General. If you're expecting your food to actually be prepared fresh, this is the wrong place to come. I visited this place when it first opened and haven't been back since. I immediately lost my appetite when I watched how my food was prepared. The microwave is this restaurant's best friend. Curious to see how lono they stay in business. Maybe other locations are better.
