ARE YOU A CUSTOMER?It is apparent that if you do not purchase oil from them you are not considered a customer.Fact: We have used Marino Fuel since 2002. Every year we either purchased oil or services. I feel I was a customer. Recently I called for emergency service for our boiler. The service call was accepted and the on call tech called right away. He suggested that if I were able to hold off to normal business day I would not have to pay overtime rates. I agreed. I had requested his arrival after a specified time he concurred. On the normal business day well, well after the time no technician,no call from the office. I called the office to be told that I was not on the schedule. I was no longer a customer because I had not purchased oil from them for one year. However I had them service the boiler. I was told that the noght service should not have accepted the after hours call, however they did read the note or (correspondence) The tech was waived off of the call. If I conducted my business such as they have I would be long gone. I am also in the services business. They did however give me a name of a person who might be able to help me. The whole (am I a customer) could have been avoided if they had any business sense. They could have given the call to the individual they recommended. It would have been seamless to me the customer instead they blew me off after being a customer all those years. We are elderly, We have never been treated by a business such as Marino Fuel. Get it straight before doing business with them
