these people are scammers, took a very small light package to ship thru ups, the package was about 10x6x3 inches and weighed 11 oz, i was quoted $33 and told this was the abosolute lowest rate available, i was stunned and asked what kind of charge they add on , she looked right at me and said there is no markup thats the rate at ups we make nothing off your package, well i said thanks but no thanks, drove over to ups and shipped same package for $13.. $20 cheaper than this lady quoted as her lowest possible rate , the same rate ups charges her, well somebody is getting ripped off here and i would bet money its not her. so her $20 no mark up is believed by how many folk in a hurry who pay this scam business , be warned ups is less than half mile away and there true rates are over 2/3 lower.
I've stopped using this store as Every Time I go in there it's a bad experience. I was faxing docs to my lawyer about a lawsuit and the clerk said something like "Why don't you just get over it." I was downloading IRS forms and the owner spewed her beliefs that low income people don't pay enough taxes, while charging about a thousand percent markup for printing the docs. Between a post office half block away and a Staples one block away, everything Mountain Postal offers can be found close by for lower prices by friendlier people Forget this place, they are too hostile to get my business anymore
Generally this is a great little spot for sending off your packages and so forth. Not so good for passport photos. I was told that the only photo the government would accept was one taken by a special camera that took 2 photos simultaneously. I went in, paid the $13 or $14 bucks and came out with the worst photo ever. They would not retake it. I went to Raleys, paid $3 or $4, got a great photo (6 of them) and learned that the special camera bit it untrue. Mtn Postal is great but get your passport photos at Raleys!
