I entered the hospital today, the volunteer at information asked for my name and where was I headed. when I told her she said I was not on the list. She advised I walk over to registration. I explained to the staff person that I was not on the list, and the Eco Room 911, did have me on their appointment schedule. She pulled up my info. and said that I was not on the registration list, she stated usually people are preregistered (over the phone) she also said that she noticed a note that someone had said they tried to contact me but I was not available - I never received a message regarding preregistering. I searched my phone log/msg and nada, so... Further the woman asked me if I had had a previous appointment which was rescheduled? I said yes, I was contacted by phone about 2 weeks ago, she replied, well someone on this end forgot to transfer your appointment - this is why you are not on the LIST. If staff carelessness occurs at the get-go what awaits me when I reach my destination? Careless staff reflects on the entire hospital. This is not the first time it has happened to me. It's an omen of things to come.
