Adams Austin MD
Dr. Adams has a fantastic staff that treats you like family. The doctor himself also talks to you like you're a human being and doesn't belittle you like some doctors do. I never feel nervous going to the doctor anymore. You can tell they actually care about you and want to help you get better!

Dar, Sadia M, MD
Dr. Dar is great. She actually listens to you and lets you be a part of your care. I would most definitely suggest her to others. She has great bed side manners and seems to genuinely care about her patients. I feel really blessed to have her as my doctor.

Absolute Medical Care
0 professionalism or care about the patients. The doctor at least listens and cares from what I can see. The office manager is rude, disrespectful and shouldn't be in any customer service role, regardless of how much the role entails customer service skills. His solution to any problem is "there's nothing I can do" and "there are no options for you". A lot of people that go here have severe injuries, mental health issues, etc. All they care about is the money and screw the patients. I would not recommend this place, maybe if the doctor had a supporting cast that actually cared or at least pretended to, it would make a big difference.

Dar, Sadia M, MD
I have never been so impressed as I was after my first visit to Dr. Sadia Dar. First of all, her staff were very nice and the nurse had such a great comforting nature that I was immediately put at ease. Dr. Dar was so sensitive and caring. I was so impressed with her professionalism, as well. The office was really pretty and and immaculate, also. I'm so glad I've found Dr. Dar!

American Family Care
Sign said opened at 8am. I was there at 1030 and the doors were locked and nobody answering the phone. Finally opened around 1pm and had a huge line. I called to complain and was hung up on. Called back and was told they were open even though I know they were not. Finally got a manager who told me they had computer problems and were sorry. I don't like being called a liar. I would just go to the DR in the future.

American Family Care
The place was nice, nursing staff okay they seemed to not care much. I got a bill over a year after my service which I didn't understand because I paid my copay and my insurance took care of everything else. I still don't know what the bill is for. Called the office and no one could help me. I called customer service and no one answered after waiting 30 minutes. Called corporate office and no one answered. Called an accountant left my name, number, account number, brief message, and no one ever called me back. I sent a email to Ms. French after I paid the bill and she didn't answer any of my questions nor concerns and then forwarded my message to someone else. American Family Clinic corporate, customer service office, and accountants are extremely unprofessional. Don't go there go somewhere else.

Tips & Advices
Academic medical centers provide the widest range of specialty care treatments, including the latest technological advances, clinical trials, and surgical techniques. In general, an academic medical center is a better choice than a community hospital for complicated treatments or rare diseases. Pediatric intensive care, especially, is usually performed at academic medical centers.
Academic medical centers offer a broad range of specialized services, from allergists to urologists. Some of the larger medical centers have entire hospitals or clinics focused on a particular medical service, such as cancer treatment, though specialties vary among the centers. Patients whose community hospital or local doctors do not have the facilities or expertise to address complex medical conditions can be referred by their primary care physician or local specialist to a major medical center (there are more than a dozen in the United States).
Yes. In addition to their inpatient hospital services, medical centers can offer a wide variety of outpatient services, such as pain clinics, rehabilitation centers, surgery, imaging and laboratory, mental health treatment, and outpatient cancer treatment. Medical groups – doctors in private practice but affiliated with the medical center--will also have offices within the medical center.
Physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, residents, and attending physicians makeup the clinical staff of an academic medical center.
Medical center accreditation is not required, but most centers work voluntarily toward accreditation because it represents higher standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.
