Open Arms Child Development Center
My daughter has gone here for almost a year. It's clean, the staff is very friendly. She has liked all of her teachers, they plan fun activities for the kids. She had her 3rd "Water day" this week where kids come in bathing suits and they go outside and splash around. Today was "Pajama day" where kids could come in their PJ's. I went for "Donuts with Dad" for Father's day, and a few months ago they had a "Kite Day" on the weekend where they invited families to all come in the park and fly kits and have a cookout. My daughter says prayers that she learns at school and she sings Christian songs. I really like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

The Look Hair Salon
The look has never disappointed. If you're looking for a small, personal stylist, Toni is the one to see. She has been doing my hair and my family's hair for over 10 years. Not once have I been in there and received poor service or style. I was appalled to see bad reviews on here. She stays busy, I think at some point it is an exception to eat a little something in between clients when you do not stop all day. I even drive from Covington to see her!

Simply You Salon
I Love Simply You the people there are wonderful, I've had my hair done there several times. My hair always comes out great and I am very pleased with it always! My stylist is Kirstin, she NEVER fails me! One of the things about all of the stylists' there is that I watch each of them with their clients, whether it is a hair trim or full treatment the clients always seem to be happy! I would have any of them do my hair with no worries!

Gimme A Break
Gimme A Break is an awesome daycare! The staff loves the kids, they go above & beyond to make the children comfortable. My son has been there a little over a year, he's the kind of kid that is extremely scared of new people & new places. After a short while, he would run inside w/out telling me goodbye, I couldn't believe it. I highly recommend Gimme A Break, a daycare you can actually trust 100%.

I had medial branch blocks done and the day after I had SEVERE muscle spasms in both buttocks. Charlette put me on moist heat and did trigger point therapy and decreased the muscle spasms to almost nothing. She told me to continue to use moist heat and the spasms diminished. Thank you for caring!!!!!

Charlette is the best massage therapist I ever been to. I have been getting massages for 30 years usually twice a month and she is the best. Charlette was recommended by my chiropractor and I've been very happy with her work. She is very professional and a joy to talk to.Jim

Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.
