Dutton Plumbing, Inc.
Dutton called me to set up my yearly water heater inspection. It was perfect timing as my kitchen sink drain was barely draining. My technicion was Ryan J. He inspected the sink line and informed me that I needed to have a high powered jet spray put through the line to remove debris. The next morning, the drain line was cleaned and the sink is working perfectly. I would highly recommend Dutton for their speed in resolving a problem, promptness and professional manner.

T-Top Plumbing
I used T-Top for a repipe in Northridge, CA. a few years after the 1994 Earthquake. They were very clean, priced extremely competitive, and I could speak English with every member of his crew. I located them a few months prior doing a repipe for a neighbor and really liked what I saw. I grabbed their number and held it until I was ready. I was so much happier with their work then a previous so called re-pipe specialist I used on another home in Mission Hills, CA

They responded promptly to my call and made an appointment for early the next day, showed up right on time and dealt with my plumbing issue quickly and professionally for a fair price. Great guys, very amiable and knowledgeable and were kind enough to entertain any questions I had, and they were great with my pets, to boot. Overall an excellent experience and I would absolutely use their service again.

I needed a plumber as my kitchen drain was backed up and my garbage disposal broke. Dutton was very professional and personable and said that a plumber would be out late that day. The plumber arrived and within 2 minutes fixed the problem. They was very courteous and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this company.

Great company. Fast, courteous service! The owner, Paul, is a really nice guy. So is Alberto, whose cleared our bathtub a number of times. Paul just fixed our garbage disposal and actually showed me how to do it so that I can do it myself in the future!! Amazing!

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
