This is a nice grocery store. It is nice, big and Actually Clean (lol). The prices are good and they have a range of items to choose from. I guess because it is nice it can get crowded (I hate that). People all in your way (lol). But it's cool.

Adarash Market
Adarash Market is the best Ethiopian market in DMV metropolitan area. The products are fresh, price is very fair, especially for low income person like me, it's my favorite place to shop ethiopian food. They also provide variety of Ethiopian dishes either you eat there or take out with fair price. I'm no more interested in spending extravagantly in those crazy Ethio restaurants that reap people.kudos to Adarash Market.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I was excited to find this place in walking distance of my new home - was about to make it my go-to beer and wine store, until I actually went there. I was about to buy about $50 worth of wine and beer. I brought a reusable Whole Foods bag to hold it all (since I couldn't carry it all with just my hands). I had put two bottles of wine in the bag and was about to pick a few beers (was texting my fiance to ask what he wanted), when the cashier came back and told me she was CALLING THE POLICE because I was STEALING THE WINE. I calmly told her that I was not stealing it but had put it in my bag because I couldn't hold everything I was about to buy. She didn't care - she told me I had to put it back or she was calling the police. I brought the bottles up and told her that she had just lost a $50 sale and a potential life-long customer. She seemed to try to backtrack, saying she wasn't accusing me, but that I had to carry my wine in a store basket (which apparently are kept in the back of the store, not right by the door - I hadn't even seen them). But if that was the case, she could have just asked me to use a basket, or asked if she could help carry my bottles to the counter - she didn't have to accuse me of stealing and threaten to call the police. Bottom line: don't go here unless you want to be treated like a criminal. You're much better off at 730 Sligo (formerly Iva's) a few blocks down the road - same selection of beer and wine, and much kinder staff.

Thomas Market
Overall, you'll love shopping here. They have the best variety of fruits and vegetables. This place is the best to shop at.

Whole Foods Market
Two words. . .food-borne illness. The prepared foods are contaminated by the inconsiderate shoppers but the management should do a better job of policing the mess. Hot food not hot enough to kill the pathogens. The rest of the store is suspect. I just had a bout of food poisoning this past weekend from their soba noodles asian style or their salmon.

Whole Foods Market
Great store in an area that has a lot of foot traffic. Get in, get out and get on with your life.

Whole Foods Market
The Silver Spring Whole Foods should build a second floor and move the dining area upstairs.
