I always love going to this grocery store, but when I went to the bakery to talk to them about ordering a wedding cake I was coldly greeted, took a lot of time to tell them what I wanted, filled out an entire order sheet and figured out a good delivery time (spent about 25 mins discussing) ( just wanted a VERY simple three tier cake no decorations, had a picture and everything) all for the lady to say "you know what we cant do this cake and we can't deliver it". Said ok and left went down the street to Julie Anne's Bakery where the prices were very similar, took half the time explaining what I wanted, and the cake was very good and the staff was very nice and had no problems delivering.
Experience not so good. Always wondered about the gains of middle eastern businesses in African American neighborhoods. Why not Caucasian's? Forgo to lumo 20.00 worth of gas today. Alright my fault. Thought at least they would let me pump, give me at least some money back. . .something. Nope, was told not our fault, somebody may have come and pumped your gas. As much money spent at these businesses by the African American community, where is the giving back to the community that supports their businesses! Where is the good faith ?USERS for profit! Wake up y'all! We can do the same for ourselves . Same thing with the Korean hair and beauty suplly stores.
Good fuel, though I was expecting slow pumps and low grade fuel or either being cheated some gas, I was not. It runs good and lasted longer than the Chevron gas I normally fill up with. Maybe it's the location and or the fuel that they sell to the customers is why they do so good. So far no issues, and I wish the inspectors would stay on all other gas stations about quality, reliable gas, and calibration standards. Give me every drop that I paid for . This assurance is best for other customers who car about their car or truck. If I ever get any bad gas, believe me, I will be back on here with a follow up review.
1:30 in the morning, my daughter has left me without cigarettes and an empty tank of gas; I'm driving around trying to find an open convenience store. Find this store, buy a carton of cigarettes, and go home. When I get home I find that there is a pack missing from the carton. The phone number on the receipt rings to a fax machine, the phone number online is disconnected; now I'm really irked. Drive back to the store and don't even have to insist on getting the missing pack, he even comped an extra pack. Sorry sir, I was a bit rude.
I go to Brookshires almost every day, sometimes more that once a day. The managers, especially Derrick is especially helpful and the managers know where almost everything in the store is 99% of the time. Also, the other day my car died in the parking lot. The manager Jeremy offered to give me a ride home or any other help I needed. I think this is a super store and will continue to shop there as long as I live close and they are so great at helping customers. Mister Ed.
These folks go above and beyond to assist customers. I had to have a script filled on a busy day and found my copay had gone up considerably. They took the time to make sure I was getting any discount I could. The we're very helpful and did all they could to ensure I was satisfied even being as busy as they were. They truly take care of their customers. Thanks Pat and everyone else for being such professionals. .
They alway have good prices on meats and other items like milk cheese eggs I am now a superone shopper I just wish every super one was not in the getto area of town
Love this Asian Food Market. They have a spectacular selection of noodles, seasonings, tea, fresh meat, and candy. Always worth a trip.
This store always smells, and I have seen moldy veggies and stale cheese. What is going on here? I wonder if there is a store manager!
