The Local Peasant
I have been here a few times with friends. Definitely gets crowded and a bit loud but the food is always good.

Boneyard Bistro
Hands down the best BBQ I've had in LA. The atmosphere and service was wonderful. Excited to make a return visit.

The Cheesecake Factory
Service isn't always the greatest, but the food is consistently good and the cheesecake is always outstanding!

The Cheesecake Factory
Service is just as bad and as rude as the snobs that live around here. Barely sat down and was being rushed to order

The appetizers here are pretty good, but the selection of entrees on the dinner menu was limited. The various arcade machines were cool, but I was expecting more of a variety (board games, etc.). A few of the arcade games that I played on the machines had a lag, which was a little disappointing. Overall, I would come back with friends for happy hour to enjoy a few games.

Love arcades and not a kid? This is it - really interesting appetizers and food in this bar setting - plus an arcade in the back with 400+ choices on the multi-play machines. Prices are a bit high, but the games are free along with that. Parking is unfortunately valet only pretty much in this area, but I enjoyed the One Up for a recent birthday bash with the back reserved

Their menu is amazing - such good food! Gastro pub without being too pretentious. Ambiance is cool, and the free games are nice - there are some meh options, but a few really cool, old school games, too.

Blue Dog Beer Tavern
This place is fun quirky cool. It's an old house turned bar and filled with customers dogs pics. They have a nice outdoor patio as well. Oh btw Burgers are great too :)

From the food (all delectable), to the service (super friendly), to the free video games in the back (secure the pong early or it will be claimed for the rest of the night), we all really enjoyed our night here, and will be sure to make it back in again. One thing to be aware of before-hand, is that (like many places in LA now) they won't seat a partial party. In a city with such bad traffic, this is an annoyance, especially when you're the first person there, so plan ahead and don't be late, or someone will have to drown their early-bird status at the bar. Our group had & shared: The goat cheese tots (ermegerd), burger sliders, bruschetta, garlic fries, jerked chicken, & hush puppies. All got high scores, and no complaints were voiced. I tasted a little of most of that and liked it all. Parking can be found on the right side-streets & at meters, but valet is avail for $5. Look for the Spaced Invaders lit logo, east of Woodman, on the north side of Ventura

My wife ordered the buffalo burger and about 5 minutes after she ordered it, the manager came to our table and told her that the restaurant was out of bison, but they would replace it with a Kobe burger instead. Since the store was getting ready to close and there was no other alternative, she opted for the substitution. My wife ordered her burger "medium," but her burger came to her well-done! The burger was overcooked and not juicy at all!I than file an online complaint through the Fuddruckers corporate web site, but this Fuddruckers ignored the complaint. I than filed with the Better Business Bureau, The Department of Consumer Affairs, the District Attorney's Office of LA, but all of these complaints went unanswered by the Fuddruckers owner and her staff. Finally, after sending a fax to the Fuddruckers corporate offices, the owner of this location contacts me and tells me to stop harassing her. She also tells her manager to have no contact with me what-so-ever.Now, under the circumstances the majority of places would simply send you an apology letter and invite you to come back and try them out again or at least offer you your money back. This Fuddruckers is so stubborn that they come against the customer and have total disregard for treating the customer with respect. Its a terrible place to be in for a business when they choose to ignore the customer's concerns and in fact challenge them, instead of looking to keep customers. I for one will NEVER visit this Fuddruckers location again with my family, because they have no respect for us and could careless that they ruined my wife's burger and have ignored my many complaints.

Just a moment...
