I am not taking revenge but I think others should not need to experience what I did: I talked to several people from this place and they all talked in very accented voices and all were all very rude. The one person hung up on me ask I was trying to ask a question! I am surprised they are still in business. If you are having a good day, do not spoil it by talking to these incompetent, rude, untactful individuals!

WOW the lady is RUDE, all the people that I've called their have had horrible attitudes, no customer service experience once so ever! They need to be put out of business, Just got off the phone with them and gave me an outrageous price on a hood for a 1993 Jeep $125. You can get them for $35 with no damage at most at other places but this one was closer so I thought I'd try. I told her that and she said you better go that route then and hung up on me, are you kidding me lady do you want to make money for your company. Get a new job cause in my opinion your worthless!

Dont even waist your time! Drove in for a part and they told me that they were too busy and told me to go to the dealership. What a waist of time and the drive. Never dealing with them again.

I drove 500 miles to pick-up an engine. After arriving they informed me that they do not accept checks. I called 4 times prior and they never mentioned anything about not accepting checks. They asked why I do not have a credit card and stated that Mcdonalds does not accept checks. They were rude as hell and cared little that I drove that far. I could see 1st hand the illegal non English speaking employees. I have filed suit and will make damn sure they are brought to justice for the Chop Shop mentality and illegal on-goings. I have several businesses and understand the laws associated. This is my personal mission.

"Doesn't Recommend".... that's a bit of the understatement and doesn't completely reflect my experiences at that place or convey my feelings toward this "operation" (one cannot possibly call it a business). Basically, my experience had been a duplicate of that "deenoree" (from his review on Citysearch .... please check reviews there also - not a single positive one) had at this place. The part "magically" increased in price from the phone quote to the time I got there. The place looks the same as etcengineer (again, Citysearch) described, this being well over a year earlier, and that in itself may even be OK if that's the way they want it, it just doesn't say anything good about their respect for the customer. What is however not OK is to gouge your customers based of the fact that they have spend their time and money to get there and are not likely to want to go back emptyhanded. This "operation" appears to prey on the desperate and/or broke so if you are one of them stay away or you will get hurt. Everybody else, you'll still be better off taking your business elsewhere. An example of gouging at North Imports Auto Parts: today they advertise coolant (the one they drain from junkers) for $5/gal ... also today (Dec 8, 2012) @ Menards the same thing is $3.97, new Peak coolant in sealed container, source: their printed weekend ad. A word of advice for North Imports Auto Parts ... you may think you have us, your customers, over the proverbial barrel, but we'll vote with our feet and stop coming. Go ahead and indulge on that overpriced coolant of yours ... cheers!
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
