MD Express
I moved here from NYC in Sept. of last year, and Dr. Robert Maughon has been my PCP since I got here. I am epileptic, so customer service/support/help is imperative for me... He is truly the best doctor I have ever seen. He is always more than happy to discuss however I am feeling, never rushes, always helps me to find the "solution" as I am trying to get off of pills altogether... No matter what the issue, he has always been supportive and wonderful. ALSO, I absolutely LOVE the receptionist, Lindy Gerow... I have been seeing her since my first visit, as well, and she is always unbelievably kind, patient, and helpful, and just couldn't be better at her job!!! Having this condition is extremely difficult, but having such phenomenal assistance really makes all of the difference. I couldn't love this place more!

Urgent Family Care
We have been here twice and sat for three hours. They took everybody that came in way after us and we ended up being late for work. Do not go here! Unless you have all day.. For things that could be done in 5 minutes waste of time the people suck here.

MD Express
I can not begin to express my complete disgust with this establishment. My husband was feeling ill and he called to make sure they took our insurance. It was around 5:00pm when he called. I had just gotten back from taking my 11 month old to the pediatrician and was driving from Sevierville back to Gatlinburg to pick him up to take him. When I got home and made double sure he checked the hours. He said they closed at 7:00pm. So we drove through Pigeon Forge's heavy traffic to MD Express. When we arrived It was 6:05pm. We walked in and the receptionist exclaimed that they stop taking people after 6:00. I was absolutely furious. Was it too hard to tell my husband that over the phone? Why does this establisment say they are open until 7:00pm. If you stop taking people at 6:00pm then you close at 6:00pm. The receptionist who showed 0 sincerity or remorse said, "If we still took people up until 7:00pm then we wouldn't get out until 8:00pm." Well boo hoo! When a restaurant closes at 10 you can walk in 10 mins til and get sat. Yes it is rude, but the fact is being open means that up until that time you can walk in and get taken care of. How is anyone supposed to know that they stop taking people after 6:00pm? And the fact that we were so upset and it was only 5mins after is the most infuriating part. She fluttered her eyelashes and said, "We open at 9:00am tomorrow." Oh, okay that really helps us right now after driving all the way from Gatlinburg through traffic.Disgusting.Find somewhere else to give your money to.

Well-Key Urgent Care
Well-key Right!!!!I'm a local do not go there! Go to the UT medical clinic. They made sure to get my co-pay sent me to the back to see a Nurse Practitioner. I told her my sugar was up she said she couldn't do nothing for me to go to the hospital. Didn't ask any questions or try to figure out the problems. This was on a Friday. Monday my family doctor asked about five questions and knew the answer I had walking pneumonia. The kicker is they billed my insurance 300 for seeing the Nurse Practitioner go figure. I think they had so many bad reviews is why they changed their name.

Well-Key Urgent Care
New to the area and no primary dr yet. My son who is asthmatic had cough body aches head ache went in and examined by a Nurse Practitioner that didn't even touch my son during the examination. Diagnosed him with having an upper respiratory infection was prescribed antibiotics and sent home. Next day was worse with fever. Returned and ask to see a doctor. Again examined and not even touched was given a flu test and it was positive. Will be finding a local true dr and leaving this place for the tourists. Nice facilty but educated staff is a joke and needs state medical examiner team take a look into their practice.

Well-Key Urgent Care
I took my wife to this urgent care yesterday and was overwhelmed with the experience! Being from Atlanta, we were a little concerned about what we might find in East Tennessee. I couldn't ask for a better experience. From the front office to the medical staff they were very courteous, friendly and caring. They treated her GI bug and dehydration with iv fluids and injectable a that did a world of good for her. The Doctor who saw her was very kind, thorough and professional. And yes, I did say Dr. Who saw her and treated her! This is one of the cleanest nicest urgent care facilities we have seen anywhere. We would definitely recommend them as top drawer! By the way they appear to be undergoing some sort of name change to Well-Key Urgent Care according to an information sheet they gave me. Again, EXCELLENT CARE!!!

Well-Key Urgent Care
Awful...long wait both times my wife needed "urgent care." We were told her copay was 25$ so she paid it. That was 2 years ago. Now i get collections call saying we owe 50. I spoke with them who said they sent a statement which never came to me bexcause they had a completely wrong address. Now urgent care charged me a 25$ late fee because it was never paid. Kim in billing was rude and said she could not do anything. I am fine with paying the rest of what we owe (which we were never told until it went to collections...go to Ut clinic on middle creek for urgent care if you cant get into your primary doctor. They are more professional and do not bill the visit as urgent care but as a specialist so you will for sure save money and see a better physician quicker the urgently steal your money care...horrible experiences with urgent care...

Tips & Advices
Emergency care facilities can treat infants and children. Roughly 16 percent of emergency patients are infants and children, so the medical professionals at these facilities typically have strong experience in pediatric emergency care.
The average wait time will depend on the type of emergency care facility.. Wait times typically average less than 20 minutes at an urgent care facility. At a hospital-based emergency care facility that treats life-threatening conditions, wait times can take as long as an hour or more.
Board certification is not required for emergency care facilities. However, the top facilities are often board certified. At hospitals, many emergency care centers require that their physicians be board certified as a qualification for employment. Two boards that handle this type of certification are the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Emergency care facilities include those that offer urgent care, and some urgent care facilities offer certain primary care services. At these facilities, patients are usually evaluated upon arrival, and a determination is made as to whether the problem requires emergency care, urgent care, or primary care.
Some medical tests and scans are performed at emergency care facilities. These facilities may perform select X-rays and blood tests if this is deemed necessary to assist your treatment. However, the range of medical tests and scans offered is much more limited than those offered as part of standard hospital care.
