King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing
King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing is now my go to company for any sewer, drain, or plumbing issues! I called because of the coupon that was running and I expected them to give me the estimate but be pricey so I figured I would break even with the coupon. The technician came out, he was professional and courteous. My water heater went out the weekend after Thanksgiving and I was already strapped for cash after my Black Friday shopping spree in downtown Seattle and the eastside at Bellevue Square Mall!! He was able to replace the heating element, saving me tons of money and buying me some time before I have to buy a new water heater. I know only an experienced technician would think of replacing the element instead of charging me for an expensive new unit. I'm so pleased with King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing's affordable and fair pricing and I will definiteley call them for any issues I have with my toilets, sinks, drains or sewers!!

Fischer plumbing
A+ Fischer Plumbing & Thank You. My grandparents needed some bathroom fixtures installed, a sink faucet & shower faucet/handle fixture. We had originally called Southwest Plumbing and waited weeks for the appointment. Southwest came in took a look around for 5 mins then tried to draw up a contract for over $1000!! So we gave them the boot and found Fischer Plumbing.Fischer came out in just a few days. Upon arrival the technician was courteous & professional. He worked his tuckas off to get things done right and in a timely manner. I left before the job was finished but my grandparents told me they were absolutely delighted with the service they received and the bathroom looked great! He even made sure to clean up when he was done. When it came time to pay the bill it was HUNDREDS less than what Southwest tired to charge them and Fischer even gave them a senior discount!I will definitely remember Fischer for the future.

I had a leaking hot water heater. When Fischer arrived the first thing they did was to advise me that the heater was probably still under warrantee and that I could likely avoid costly repairs by simply exercising the warrantee. This had not occurred to me since the heater was over 7 years old and the "Big Box" store where it was purchased from has a bad reputation for honoring their "warrantees." But the Fischer technician encouraged me to try and within 20 minutes the "Big Box" store had agreed to replace my hot water heater for free. Fischer obviously got nothing out of the deal, in fact it cost them at least an hour or more of their time plus truck and gas costs. But what they did get is a ton of respect from me and a guarantee that whenever I need a plumber they are the people I will call.

Ally Plumbing Inc
A-Rated company! We needed a lot of work done in our house and Ally Plumbing was professional and helpful the entire time. When we initially called, the receptionist Bri nicely explained all of our options and was patient with us as we tried to figure out a good date for them to come out. Our technician Tyler was honest with us when he came to inspect the work and give us our estimate. He did not pressure us to do anything and even offered suggestions and advice. Their pricing was very fair for the amount and type of work we needed done. They provided a quote via e-mail the same day, which I highly appreciated. They also fixed everything in only a few, short hours and so far everything is working GREAT! They also sent us something in the mail to thank us for choosing their services.

Michael from Fischer Plumbing showed up right on time. He was very helpful and professional. We told him what we were hoping to get fixed, and he said "no problem" and jumped right on it. We had a twenty-five year old toilet replaced in the master bathroom, and he fixed an outdoor faucet that was leaking. It was broken a few years ago, and our son's friend fixed it and put a valve in it. However, it would not completely shut off, and Michael from Fischer Plumbing came in and fixed it. This was our first time using Fischer Plumbing's Services. We heard about them through our daughter's friend's parents, and found out that our neighbor used Fischer Plumbing too, after the fact! Call them if you have a problem, they're awesome!

Tickled pink with Fischer Plumbing! Found a water leak under our kitchen sink the day before Thanksgiving. Fischer Plumbing sent a technician out within a few hours. He worked fast, showed me what had happened and told me what he was doing and what needed to be replaced. He quoted a reasonable hourly fee, said they only charge for time spent, guaranteed the work for a year, and said the office would bill us. Such a refreshing experience. The technician was personable yet efficient, got the work done faster than expected, took away the corroded old parts and left the space just about as clean as he found it. Exceptional experience! Next time we have plumbing issues, we won't hesitate to contact Fischer Plumbing.

Absolutely fantastic experience. On-time, knowledgeable workers, very fair price, and quality work. They explained everything, and answered all my questions. Warm, friendly personalities, too. I now feel like I have relatives in the plumbing business. :-)They were very careful about not impacting the various utility lines running through my lawn, which was a real challenge considering the workers who built the house were all idiots in everything they did. These guys (Marcus and Hunter) made me feel total confidence in their ability to get the job done. They cleaned up, and got things done quicker than expected. The next time some bad, wet thing happens, I won't hesitate to call them.

Excellent job, wonderful and compassionate people and fast!!! We needed a water damage specialist for an emergency and they were here in an hour! Les Griffith was amazing and walked me through everything that they were doing and what I could expect. When they left on day one Les told me that he would call me the next day between 10 and 11... he did just that and was here 30 min later.I would recommend this company to anyone! Generally you meet plumbers and water damage specialists under less than ideal circumstances and this company and Les are wonderful!!!

Your motto of “The Plumber People Recommend” certainly applies in our case. We look forward to having the opportunity to recommend you as our preferred plumbing contractor, especially the excellent work of your employee Barry. Beyond a doubt he went over and above the call of duty in replacing our hot water heater. We needed a hot water heater replaced in the hardest of places, the crawl space! In fact the whole situation took ingenuity and skill to complete. Barry’s work was outstanding and we greatly appreciate his skill and determination to do a good job!

Price Busters Plumbing
I called Price Busters after receiving replies from two other plumbing companies to install a PRV . Josh was a little late in arriving but sprang into high gear immediately. I was with him while he worked and was impressed by his fastidiousness as the job progressed. He took great care to solder, tape and connect everything. I am not a plumber but I can recognize professionalism at little more than a glance. He had immediately scoped out the job to be done and proceeded accordingly. I will not hesitate to call this company in the future.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ¼-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
