We stayed here for a little staycation last weekend and had a great time. I was skeptical about the whole staycation thing, but we had a great time shopping, went to campagne for a great dinner, and didn't have to worry about driving home after a couple drinks. the view was awesome, and we found an awesome deal on their site

I was married in August and my bridesmaids chose Hotel Andra to stay at for the night before my wedding. The staff was so accomadating in helping line up rooms for us girls. They were understanding to us running in and out on last minute errands and helped with a large number of bags and requests. My photographer even temporarily rearranged the lobby for photos. The staff was accomadating in finding a private place for our ""first sight"" photos. It was more than I (and the girls) could have planned for and asked for. We had a wonderful time and would highly reccomend this hotel.

I had been given a gift certificate for the Max, and was afraid of what I thought would be a closet with a bed (since the cirtificate was the basic class of room), but instead I had a PERFECT room for a night away! The size was larger than expected after reading previous reviews, the bed was absolutely the most cozy I have slept in, and even the bath robes were plush! I was on the 8th floor and had somewhat of a view (as much as can be expected in an older building in a modern city setting), and slept with my windows open with no interruption. I have to admit, after all the negative written by others I was afraid to stay. Now I think that just because they are used to the large lack-luster rooms of the national chains, that a room such as boutiques offer, one that is not absolutely cavernous is somehow shortchanging them. The amenities were high end, the furniture was very relaxing, the toiletries very nice quality, and the staff friendly- I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Even the art pieces in the room were unique, no prints. How often do you see this in a hotel?\r \r Yes, the art can be a little racey, but that is the job of art is to make you see things in a way you normally wouldn't, to appreciate that which in another context my make you less apt to ponder, or even worse to take it for granted. Initially I was caught off-guard when I first walked in, but after one or two times of passing bye the ""noted"" picture next to the front desk I had to stop and look- it is a painting of such fine work that it looks like a photo. I am saddened that someone wouldn't stop to actually look at the work rather than the mere subject. I may not have it in my livingroom, but I can say that the art is of superior standard. \r \r Thank you Max, you have given me hope that sometimes there is more than meets the eye!

8.Grand Hyatt Seattle

You never know quite what a Hyatt property will be like as the range can be significant. This Hyatt, located at 7th and Pine, is lovely. Our room on the 24th floor provided a beautiful view of the bay, and the room was super quiet, beautifully decorated, and the bathroomwas very cool.
9.The Maxwell Hotel

My husband and I just stayed here for one night as we are in a transition of moving down to Texas, but it was just what the doctor ordered. Everything was wonderful. The stafff was amazing and helpful. We had our little dog and they were very accommodating. The flat screen in the room made my husband very happy and the bathrooms were very modern with good bath products! The location is really convenient in QA with a ton of restaurants in walking distance.\r \r My favorite thing about it though was the wood floors in the rooms instead of carpet. Hotel carpet is always kind of scary...so this was a really smart alternative. Way to step up Maxwell! We will definitely return when we're back in Seattle!\r \r And oh yeah...like the other review said - free parking!

My wife and I decided to splurge for Valentine's day and stayed at the Sorrento Hotel for the weekend. The atmosphere at the bar and the lounge near the lobby is very warm and rich, with deep leather couches and dark wood. Dinner at the Hunt Club restaurant was amazing. The scallops with bacon and canteloupe (!) were a great surprise. I was very impressed that the chef, Ivan, came out to greet the patrons and discus the menu. We went with his suggestion for food and wine pairings, and they were fabulous. It turns out that he is new to the restaurant and this was the first weekend of his new menu. I see some not so favorable past reviews here, and I can say that any previous problems at the restaurant have been fixed. I know we'll be back to try more of Ivan's wonderful creations! I highly recommend the Hunt Club for a fancy dinner on the town.

I was meeting some friends for appetizers and drinks prior to the Mariners game. I have to say the staff at Jimmy's was very professional and most attentive. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave you are treated very well. The food was very good and I would recommend Jimmy' for lunch, dinner or drinks & appetizers prior or after a game.

First, let me say I absolutely love this hotel. It's clean and modern with nice, roomy rooms and I love the location near UW and the fact that they have bikes you can borrow. We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had a blast. My only complaint is a fairly big one, but they did try to correct the situation after the fact. We had reserved a king room and got in early in the day. The rooms understandeably weren't ready but we confirmed that we would be all set with a king room. After a long day of sight seeing, we arrived back at the hotel around 10 and were informed that they had no king rooms and all they had was a double. We complained to the front desk and talked to the manager on the phone and they were not at all apolgetic about the situation. We got fed up and stayed the rest of the weekend. When I got back home, I sent a note to the hotel explaining the situation and the poor service and they responded in kind with a letter and voucher for a free night. It was a decent effort at making up for their mistake but it should have been handled when we were there. I never made it back to Seattle to use our free night.
4140 Roosevelt Way NE
Nice young staff, free wireless internet, pool, nice breakfast, free parking and comfortable rooms (with 27"" tv) all for a good price.\r \r Update: we returned on July 2007. The hotel remains a great place. It's nice to know that the high standards are kept and that the hotel survives the test of time.

The spa at four seasons is the place to go for a luxurious spa experience in downtown seattle. This spa located near pike place on the 3rd floor of the four seasons hotel makes everyone feel like a million bucks. Changing room is spectacular with a steam room, sauna, showers and combination lockers. Bathroom ammenities include things like hair spray, brushes, razors, mouthwash, even feminine protection in case you forgot anything at all before arriving for your spa treatment. Everything is very clean and staff are super attentive. Robes are provided. Waiting room is filled with plush chairs and fancy hot tea is provided. I highly recommend the pike place manicure and pedicure combo, while slightly on the pricey side it includes fabulous scrubs with ginger and lavendar. Guests are invited to hang out and enjoy the steam room and/or sauna before or after thier treatments, so be sure to plan accordingly.

I have stayed at many hotels in my life but this was the best one. The hotel is beautifull, rooms are amazing, Juno, the restaurant below, has amazing breakfast, and the bar was awesome. I loved that they had a traditional bartender, white jacket and could make anything. (Vicktor) I would go back just because of the bar and bartender.

We lucked out with a parking promotion.

Two hard to please, 40+, hard working women who hardly get together decided to have a luscious spa weekend in downtown Seattle (we're native to Seattle but hardly have time to spend relaxing and enjoying downtown Seattle). We were delighted at the Sheraton's offerings - with their scrumptious beds piled high with and variety of lavish pillows. The hotel is two blocks from our chosen spa (GJ), and shopping available every direction, with quiet and luxury rooms to hide out in and watch a really good flat screen t.v. We found that it gets a little crowded when a convention is going on next door at the convention center - but just in the lobby and on the elevators. Sunday paper is delivered to your door. Outstanding gourmet supermarket tucked away 1423 Third Avenue, as well as Pike Place Market. Thank you Sheraton for a great place for two girls to reconnect and relax and feel like REAL women again. This hotel gets high rating for being so clean, our room on the 20th floor had a decent view, good service, near everything - total thumb's up even when you factor in a rather late room service.

Clean and comfortable. We've stayed a few times because it's close to the VA hospital where my husband gets treatments. The staff is very friendly and they aim to please. They need more pillows in the room. We always have to ask for extras, and they are very small.
