YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

2.Le Soleil Vietnamese
1515 E 14th St
This is youre ""americanized"" vietnamese restaurant in the Old SL area. Its a fairly new establishment. If youre used to the SF style of vietnamese cooking, this restaurant is for you. Every thing they served is delis !! I mostly loved their steak vermicelli ( gray noodles) and deep fried rolls ( entree) and their fresh shrimp rolls ( appetizer) are to die for. The vietnamese gumbo is also very good and the best part is their fried banana with vanilla ice cream is again, to die for. The service is attentive. Most of the patrons here are couple or people who truly appreciates this type of food. Enjoy!

Things I recommend: Beef Look Luk, Vietnamese Crepe, Shrimp Fried Rice & the Fried Banana. This place is great filling food; nice for a date, but not really for bigger parties things will get a bit crowded. Dont expect much from the wine or beer selection, but it has a clean appearance, the service is at a decent pace and the arrangement is good.
4.Cafe Du Soleil
200 Fillmore St
An old friend recently invited me to join him at the CAFÉ DU SOLEIL a sunny afternoon. At the counter, the friendly owner greeted us with a smile and showed us the house specialites of colorful pastries and freshly baked breads. The high ceiing and dark wood gave this cafe a uniquely modern yet old world French café flavor. The tarte the we ordered was a delight as was the enormous bowl of café au lait available for an extra 25 cents. If you want to test your French, the owner who orginates from Nantes gladly obliges. The music is a fine mix from Piaf to the works of young neighborhood artists. When in the lower Haight, I highly recommend this French cafe where you can linger either inside or at an outdoor table. I look forward to going back and next time it will be for lunch.
