Rhorer, Anthony S, MD
I fell off a wall onto a cement floor August 22, 2014 resulting in a fracture of my right ankle. I received 2 surgeries (8/26 and 9/7) and continued to have pain. I was operated on at The Core Institute and went back to walking on it early because I had to get back to work. I have had worsening pain and deformity since January when I went back to work. It is significantly painful to work at this point. I tried ice, heat and activity modification and nothing seemed to help. After talking with Dr. Rhorer and learning about the success he has had in Non-union and Mal-union corrections I decided he was the doctor for me. It was quite the shock when I learned that Dr. Rhorer was considered an out of network provider and it definitely put a delay on things. However, everything was explained to me in great detail and I decided to save up for 1 year to cover the costs of surgery.

Sean T. Lille, MD, PC
Dr. Lille and his assistant are truly driven to paint the whole picture of the surgery. I expected to have to have a tummy tuck. Dr. Lille explained to me that since I had very good skin and minimal amount of looseness of my stomach muscles, liposuction could be my best option with my busy lifestyle. He explained to me that the liposuction would not get me the flattest belly, but if I wanted a faster recovery period, less burden on our families finances then lipo would be the answer. Well, the result was amazing and I am sooo happy that I decided the lipo option. Everybody else said I needed the big tummy tuck and did not explain my other options. Dr. Lille gave me all the info and helped me weigh all my priorities. I am down two pant sizes and was back in the gym after 10 days and driving my kids after 6 days. Thank you Dr. Lille and his incredible staff.

I evaluated 4 plastic surgeons before choosing Dr. Lille. His office staff is very attentive and took the time to go over the information about the surguries I wanted. Dr. Lille and his assistant were very thorough and made many points that the other doctors did not mention. He is very candid and and provided a clear enough picture about the potential outcomes. This allowed me to save money while at the same time being very happy with my result. If you want a doctor that truly looks at your whole picture and not just about notching another surgery case, he is the man!

Sosnowski, Jennifer Jo MD: Jennifer Jo Sosnowski, MD
Dr. Sosnowski is a phenomenal doctor and brilliant diagnostician. She'll spend whatever time is necessary to get to the bottom of any problems I present, and goes the extra mile for follow-up. Her concierge service is second to none, and once you've experienced it you won't go back to conventional medical practices. Dr. Sosnowski doesn't affect airs or put up staff barriers -it's like having a doctor in the family. Do yourself a favor and schedule with Dr.,Sosnowski-don't waste your time with anyone else.

Miller, Brian, MD
I highly recommend Dr. Millers office to anyone needing help with hip problems. My hip replacement was a fairly easy process. My husband had a hip replacement using the posterior approach 5 years ago and my hip replacement was done using the anterior approach. Dr. Miller's method using the anterior approach is almost painless and I got back to my normal activities quickly. I would return to Dr. Miller without hesitation if I should ever have problems with my other hip.

Rhorer, Anthony S, MD
Was fortunate to have received level 1 Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery from Dr. Rhorer. Specifically, open ankle reduction with (3) broken/crushed bones and hardware insertion. Without the skill of Dr. Rhorer, it is doubtful I would now be learning to walk again. Smart and great bedside manner - whole package! Only downside was lack of in-network medical insurance participation, but he told me that they are working on that issue. Thanks Dr. Rhorer and his excellent staff!

Staples, Kurtis S, MD
Dr. Staples medical assistant Esme has been so helpful preparing me for the surgery. I have never had surgery before, so I had lots of questions that she promptly answered. She definitely helped put me at ease regarding having a bilateral hip replacement. I know Dr. Staples is the best and that is why I came from Minnesota for my surgery. I also trust him to do a bilateral replacement because I know his background in the anterior approach is extensive.

Lawrence W Shaw MD
Dr. Shaw is the best of the best and I can not imagine choosing anyone else for my procedure. I had consultations with a few other surgeons prior to deciding Dr. Shaw, which was a no brainer. I felt completely at ease and comfortable and he reassured me of all my hesitations. I am almost fully recovered and am already ecstatic with the results, can't wait to see the full end result. Highly recommend!

I''m a no nonsense girl. And I live in no nonsense world. There is not always a gray area for me, a lot of my life is black and white. Dr Lille does not put me in a gray area. He calls the shots the way they are. I might not like them and I may seek to tweak them a bit, but I do like the fact that he is very clear with regards to what he feels is medically acceptable as well as a aesteatically pleasing.

The entire staff is warm and friendly. I felt like a part of their family" instantly. Joni is a sweetheart. I felt like I was talking and giggling with a close friend. Dr. Lille is Professional, easy to talk to, has great bedside manner, a sense of humor, and is extremely compassionate. I have referred many friends, clients, and family members to his practice. I am extremely happy with the results :)
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
