Still best drinks in town. All bartendars are awesome people except only one. He doesn't fit in, has a highly unapproachable face, and treats most bar goers with a demenor of misanthropic digust. Wanna clue.. Tie Dye shirts. Downfalls; no food except free hot dog and hamburger Saturday with a live band of which the dogs and burgers are glorious. Secondly, the inside is intensly small and overly intimate on weekends as u can't move once u make ur way in. Lastly, they have one of the best jukeboxes in the city when it comes to variety and overwhelming selection, however, the bartendar controls which songs play and will skip ur song in a heartbeat.. My suggestion, don't have an open jukebox for people to freely pick some songs that may potentially get jumped over, or, if the song is found on the jukebox then let it play.Overall, its got darts, Photo Hunt, and a great manager and owner that arw there all the time.. Say hi to Leigh or Bill if u see em walkin around!
Of all the Zipps in the greater Scottsdale/Phoenix area this one is my 3rd favorite to the Zipps on Thomas and like 56th street as my second favorite, and no Zipps in my little opinion beats the3 Via De Ventura Zipps at Via De Ventura and Hayden.. This Zipps has shuffle board, darts, pool tables, great bar seating and an overall good vibe! Mini downfall is the jukebox music selection last I checked was outdated and included irrelevant bands of which most shouldn't be in the music industry in general, not to mention within a bar's jukebox..Food is average for bar/grill food; only decent food item is the burger and winga..Lastly, the daily drink/food specials are all very affordable and include good picks!
