Seascape Aquarium & Pet Center
I bought a 90 gallon tank and canopy stand a few months ago from one this store, prices were a bit high compared to other stores..but not so far off as to say no. However...the advice that I was given for filtration was so far off from what is correct, that I must say..the knowledge of the staff is sub par. After I bought it, I was trying to load it in my truck and the clerk refused to help me load it, saying that they were not allowed to assist. It was fortunate that I had a friend with me..or I would not have purchased the set up. I went in a 2nd time and walked around for 35 minutes...and not one person asked if I needed help. Not one!!! I walked out...then went back in because I remembered that I needed a gang valve. When I did...there was a guy that appeared at the check out counter that rang me up. Their tanks with Cichlids were so jammed with multiple varieties of Mbunas and Peacocks...with NO identification of any. They'd have a tank with 20 species in it..with 2 or 3 names on the glass to identify. When cichlids are juveniles, it is hard to ID what they are unless you have knowledge of the fish. If I see a peacock cichlid and I want to know what it looks like as an adult...I google the name so that I can see what the future holds for that fish. When I asked the clerk..he had no clue what they were. SAD! Terrible customer service.
