Hahn Automotive
I took my 2003 VW New Beetle in to have the shocks, brakes and tires checked, afraid that they'd suggest all three needed to be replaced. After he'd done a thorough inspection, Billy, the owner, said if I'd come into the bay with him he'd explain his findings to me. He took his time pointing out the front and back shocks and front and back tires and patiently asked questions like how many miles I drove a year and how often I'd had the tires rotated, and offered suggestions on how to gently use the brakes and down-shift on long, steep grades like Fountaingrove Parkway. His opinion was that nothing needed to be repaired or replaced for at least another year! What a relief! I wasn't charged for the inspection and, as if that wasn't enough, when I walked back into the waiting room I saw him bending over my car adding windshield washer fluid! Billy and Hahn Automotive rock!

Hahn Automotive
Hahn automotive is the best. I've brought my car to them more than once, and each time they get me in and back on the road within a day. Their prices are beyond reasonable and their attention to detail is unmatched. I've told locals that my car is at Hahn Automotive for repair, and they've all said - "That shop has been the best in town for the past 30+ years!" Billy the owner is super knowledgeable and has practically diagnosed my problems over the phone. I won't take my car anywhere else. I want to thank Hahn Automotive for taking care on me and my car, these guys are phenomenal.

Vaughn's Transmission
So my Honda Odyssey trans started slipping around 168k miles and I stopped at Vaughn's and talked with the owner Dylan who gave me a very reasonable price to rebuild it. I dropped it off to him on a Wednesday around noon and he had it finished in 2 days and gave me a generous 2 year warranty period. This family owned shop is very courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to get you back on the road. I have put about 800 miles on the Honda and it feels very strong and fresh. So I will be giving two thumbs way up for Vaughn's Transmission Shop

North Bay Automotive,Radiator Air Conditioning
Ron (the owner of North Bay Auto) is honest and works hard. We have taken our cars to him for the past 5 years. He has always been trust worthy which I appreciate. We have never had a problem with his service and would recommend him to our friends. He has worked on our cars from replacing radiators, timing belts, smog parts problems, oil changes, water pumps, battery testing and changing, new radio, replacing air condition unit and starters. He wants to please his customers. Thank you for your continued honesty and hard work!

North Bay Automotive,Radiator Air Conditioning
I have been to many repair shops over the years and none come close to the honesty and workmanship of Ron and Tammi. They will explain what is needed and give you a decent price for the repair. I had my radiator done the first time, the cost was way below the competitor. My timing belt and water pump was next and I couldn't ask for better serviced, very professional and done right. Thanks Ron, Tammi for the great service. I would send my friends and family, with out hesitation. Eddie B.

I went to Hahn Auto Electric to have a battery short problem solved..spoke to Mike at the service counter and he asked Billy if he could check out my service truck. Billy went to work with electrical troubleshooting skill and in less then 30 minutes he had problem figured out. Didn't even care that it was closing time for his business. When asked about fee for services....reply was No charge...glad he could help. Thanks Billy for all your time and help late on a Friday:)Mel

Ron the owner was great. I called around several places in the area including one that guarantees the lowest price as well as one of the highest rated in the area. Ron beat the next closest quote by a good percentage and got me right in and out that morning. Easy fix but was very satisfied with the service and cost of the repair I had done.

Hensley's Auto Smog And Repair
I was told about the place from a friend. Came in for a smog check and oil change. They do lots of repair work there. I can tell it's a busy shop. What I like about the place is that I felt I wasn't being pushed out of the way. Erik and Ozzy where explaining how the smog check was done to me, which was cool.

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
