True Tone has a really great selection of inventory and a really friendly staff. I go there about once a month to buy supplies and have never had a problem. I'm usually quick with purchases and True Tone had speedy, quick check out when I needed it. But they're knowledgeable sales staff also provided me with necessary information about products.

Mike Randle and Ken Daniels did everthing to meet and
beat the Box Store people.
They even honored a $100.00 discount card from Sam Ash Music. I was shocked when I read the fine print from
Sam Ash's discount card, which EXCLUDED Gibson and
other Major brands. With Truetone there is no smoke and
I would doubt that anyone can set up a new Gibson better. Easygoing, helpful vibes, just like my J-45, warm.
This store is terrible. Last time, a clerk made an insulting racial comment on me. I was upset that I asked to owner to call me. The clerk called me and appologied. And owner did not call me.
I had my guitar setup. First of all, true tone music was not on time for a guitar set up. They were one day late. The setup was not satisfactory, I asked them to rework on my guitar. The guy who is repairing my guitar, lied about when I can pick up my guitar. He told me that the guitar will be ready for the next mourning. But, when I called him that he insisted it was next evening. Second of all, I asked for an Eb guitar setup but they did an E guitar setup. Among my friends, we do not go to true tone, nowdays. After True tone got some fame in town, their service is getting worse. Their clerks are unfriendly and rude.
Rockin' guitar store with the greatest selection of gear I've ever seen. Really nice dudes there helped me figure out what effects pedal I needed.
Like a candy store. But with guitars.
Unlike most other guitar stores I've been to, these guys rock! They actually did the most amazing job fixing a (valuable) guitar I just love that had a broken headstock. I thought it was screwed but they not only saved it, the guitar is better than before! There was a bit of a wait, but considering the huge volume of repairs going through there (their repair rack looks like some guitar stores' inventories), it was understandable and more than worth it. Frankly, they don't charge enough for their services. Don't tell them I said that.
I saw this store in Los Angeles Magazine and had to visit. These guys have the most unbelievable selection of guitars & amps crammed into one store, but what really blew me away was that Ry Cooder was there, picking up some gear at their repair shop. Cool! All the guys working there were really friendly & helpful with no attitude, unlike a lot of music stores. If you're into guitars at all, this is an amazing place!
