The Pole Garage
The Pole Garage is a fantastic studio for women looking to learn pole dancing as beginners! They focus on an incredibly thoughtful and well-crafted, progressive-learning curriculum for beginner level dancers, which gives the students the right conditioning and instruction to bring them through to an intermediate to advanced level. The beginner classes are structured so that each week builds on the next, with session classes lasting 6 to 8 weeks per section. Once all beginner and intermediate sessions have been completed, dancers can then move into the open advanced classes and opt for different curriculum, like Pole Work or Transitions and Dance. There are a couple of mixed level classes each week, but most are either the session classes (open only to session students at that level - most classes are exclusive to that group of session students, scheduled for that time) or the advanced classes. Classes begin with a stretching and calisthenic style warm up designed to build conditioning that aids in pole dance (think lunges, stretching of shoulders and legs, ab work out, etc). The teachers take care fo welcome new students and each student is given one-on-one attention through the class. Class size is kept small (fewer than 12 people per class), and there are five 45mm poles available. Parking is accessed through the alley between 19th and 20th streets, accessible from the eastbound side of Olympic. Head to the end of the alley and turn left up the ramp, then park in the small lot at the top - or park at the meters on Olympic and walk up. You can also be buzzed in from the front of the building, on 20th. The studio is intimate, with real hardwood floors and red lighting. It creates a lovely atmosphere. This is a great place if you're not crazy about the insane competitive tricks, and just looking for a solid foundation in pole and a great group of women.

Santa Monica Audi
*************************Two years ago I leased my first Audi @ McKenna (Norwalk) dealership. Chris Blair was the Audi specialist assisting me with my lease. With his experience the process was so easy and exciting that I felt very confident after leasing my first Audi . Chris Blair was there to guide me through the process. I am very pleased with the service and experience and nothing less than exceptional. Chris Blair is now my trusted sales advisor and exceeding my expectations and delivering on promises. I am someone who is doesn't do change very well. So if you find something that works I stick with it. So when the time came I called McKenna and they said he no longer worked there and couldn't give me any information. Goggle is such an amazing thing that I found him. Thank you Santa Monica!!!I wouldn't consider going to a different dealership or working with any other sales professional. Most of the time it's stressful purchasing any vehicle and difficult because of the paper work even though dealers can handle . Today I am in the car I wanted and he was able to fit my budget. Chris.... You are awesome and I'm happy I met you because you make it so less stressful and easy. If you don't see him then your missing out because he is trustworthy and very knowledgeable. As long as I have an Audi then Chris Blair is my go to guy. Thank you Chris B and Santa Monica Audi. !!!! Larissa Reverditto

Subaru Santa Monica
This hands down the best dealership experience I've ever had. Shout out to both Maria and Frank for their awesome customer service. I came in to check out a Subaru Forester and I was having trouble deciding between a 2015 and 2017. I was received by Frank he quickly found the car despite having their main location under construction and found me a sale staff to take me on a test drive. Maria knew everything about the differences between the two years and was extremely knowledgeable about the technology. Most importantly she was honest about the cars I checked out. Additionally there was ZERO sales pressure from either of them. She let me work it out on my own and it was a 1000 times better experience. I 100% recommend this dealership. Ask for Maria! She's fantastic. They both stayed until 10pm to make sure everything was perfect despite them closing at 8pm.

Santa Monica Audi
I had looked online for the car I wanted and was willing to travel within a 1,000 mile radius of SLC to purchase. I spoke with Mary Anne on the phone many times. I had various choices but I chose the 2009 Audi A4 from your lot due because I knew she would represent the transaction fairly and most important make the experience of buying a car sight-unseen and out of state a good one. I am very pleased to report that she delivered. Mary Anne picked me up from LAX and helped me make the transaction smooth and enjoyable. Her training on the vehicles functionality was superb and her follow up was off the charts as she checked with me on several occasions through my drive back home to SLC. Thank you again I can't even begin to tell you how satisfied I am with this place.

Santa Monica Audi
I recently purchased a car at Santa Monica Audi First of all, let me say I'm a financial planner so i know a thing or two about numbers. I feel that my salesman gave me a very fair deal. The only problem was that they did not yet have the car that I wanted in stock. I put a small deposit down on the car and it took a few days later to arrive then I originally anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to put me in a rental for the few days it was late. I've dealt with many dealerships before. I really think my salesman is an honest good guy and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and clients who are interested in buying an Audi. And I love my car, by the way!

Layne's Westside VW Repair
LAYNE GIVES 110% TO THE CARS HE WORKS ON. My son Dakota has a 69 VW Bus and it needed rebuilt engine as well as many other things. Layne was meticulous about discussing every detail with us before doing any of the work or charging us anything. He spent a couple of hours working with Dakota to make sure he knew how to properly maintain the vehicle once it left his shop. His employees are friendly and competent. He cares about every car he works on and all of the owners as well. I feel so blessed to have met him and his lovey lady. The birds and cats that reside their just show you how much he cares. I will bring any VW I own to this awesome mechanic.

Santa Monica Audi
Just bought a new A4 and had a great experience. The Internet/fleet manager responded to my online request for quote within a few hours. When I arrived, Phil didn't have exactly the color combo I was looking for, but immediately found the car I wanted after a quick search of other dealers inventories. Put the deposit down and came back the next day to finalize the paperwork. Finance dept was also fantastic. Very matter of fact about the extras. No hard selling on the extended warranties, paint protection, etc. I'd say I spent no more than a total of 2 hours from when I first arrived to when I drove off the lot in my new car.

Santa Monica Audi
I happen to stumble upon the most amazing 2008 Audi TT 3.2 v6 convertible at Santa Monica Audi that had all of the options I wanted and listed at a very fair price. I'm the kind of person that hates waiting for what I want so I was quick to call the dealership and get more in for on the car. I was so lucky to get setup with Jennifer Vickers. She was able to answer all of my question confidently and really proved to me that she was not after just and another sale.. Jennifer went out of her way to send me more pictures of the car since I am located In San Diego and was not able to drive up to Santa Monica to Check it out...

Santa Monica Acura
I have to wonder about some of the mean-spirited reviews in this list. It's like they were written or arranged for by another (competitive) car dealer. They certainly don't resemble my experiences. I purchased my TL from Santa Monica Acura because they offered me the best deal and even though my particular package wasn't in their inventory, they found the car for me within six hours. Robert, the service rep I use, is always helpful and knowledgeable. My overall impression is that they go out of their way to accommodate customer needs, are courteous and provide outstanding service. What more can you ask for?

Subaru Santa Monica
I worked with Edgar Medina and he was awesome! He went above and beyond to ensure the whole purchasing process went smoothly. He even picked me up at the CarMax by LAX after I sold my old car and brought me back to Subaru to finalize the paperwork. This was my first time financing a new vehicle and Edgar's transparency was so refreshing. I'd been to a bunch of other dealerships and was getting royally ripped off. Edgar leveled with me from the get-go and I drove away in a beautiful 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. I don't think I would have gotten such an amazing deal if I hadn't gone to Edgar. Thanks man!
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
