Dr. Ruth's Vet 2 Pet Mobile Holistic Veterinary Service
I have been raising hunting dogs and best friends for over 50 years and have had the opportunity to meet several wonderful veterinarians through the years. I must say Dr. Ruth is absolutely by far and away the best I have known in that time. She is totally no nonsense in her approach and will not lead you through the multitude of unnecessary tests to fatten the bottom line. Dr. Ruth is Holistic in her approach when possible but when knows where to draw the line in my humble opinion. She is just the best, so caring and loving to my pets (children) and is a bargain in comparison to what is available out there. I believe she has cut her overhead in her mobile approach and prices her services accordingly My wife and I just love her to death. We give her 5 Wows. Thank you Dr. Ruth !!!

Caring Hands Pet Clinic
Dr. Cynthia Massey is a great veterinarian. Santa Maria's best veterinarian is compasionate, caring, thorough, and communicates very well. The staff at Caring Hands Pet Clinic is excellent and are very committed to great customer service and genuinely care about my pets health. Everytime I am there they run an efficient, on time, very clean facility and are always seem to be under the estimated cost. Dr. Massey does a great job and should be your Santa Maria veterinarian of choice. Caring Hands Pet Clinic is the best clinic I have ever been to. www.caringhandspetclinic.com

Caring Hands Pet Clinic
Wow! Dr. Massey was so very kind and caring to offer to help us with our 14 year old baby, Chibi. Dr. Massey could have sent us to the Emergency Pet Care center 20 minutes away being that it was after hours on a Saturday evening. Our baby bled profusely from her nose, and we were freaking out. Just the thought of someone there to listen immensely helped us and calmed OUR nerves, even though we know at our babies age the outcome isn't favorable. Thank you so much for living up to the clinic's name - Caring Hands!

Dr. Ruth's Vet 2 Pet Mobile Holistic Veterinary Service
Dr. Ruth came to our house to ease the pain of the end of life for our best friend Kelly, our rotty mix. She was at our house quickly. She helped Kelly out of her pain and going over the rainbow bridge. I would recommend her any time. She is a bit pricey in comparison to vet offices. But that's the trade off for a Mobil vet! It's much more kind and calm than dealing with a yawning cat and whiny dogs in the car? I recommend this vet highly!

Brenda Ph.D. Forsythe DVM
I've taken several of my pets here and always received good care. There was one receptionist who wasn't very friendly or helpful, but she is no longer there. Dr. Brenda is very caring and considerate. The only negative thing is that there is no weekend coverage so if your animal gets sick on Sat.., you can't have him there overnight.

Dr. Ruth's Vet 2 Pet Mobile Holistic Veterinary Service
I had to put my beloved companion to sleep yesterday. Dr. Ruth came to my home so I didn't have the added stress of carrying my pet in the car to a cold, sterile, vets office. She was very compassionate. Her attitude made things so much more bearable for me. I will recommend her to all my friends with pets.

Dr. Ruth's caring treatment restored my paralyzed dog's ability to walk. She is skillful as she is caring and highly educated. Definitely your best bet for personal vet services.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the prosthetic.
  • Dental implants, when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.
  • Crowns typically last between 10-15 years.
  • Resin-bonded bridges typically last between seven  and 10 years. Tooth-supported fixed bridges generally wear out faster than this.
  • Removable partial dentures typically last around 15 years.
  • Complete dentures typically last between five and six years.
The entire process for adding dental implants could take as long as eight months. There are three phases:
  • Phase 1: Grafting. This may take between three and six  months.
  • Phase 2: Artificial root placement. This may take one to two  hours to complete and will take between three and six  months to heal.
  • Phase 3: Crown placement. This is usually done over the course of two visits, two weeks apart.
One dental implant typically costs $1,000-$3,000. However, the abutment (a connector added onto the top of a dental implant) and crown can add $500-$3,000. Multiple dental implants may cost $3,000-$30,000. A full set of implant dentures may cost as much as $90,000, though the average is around $34,000.
A dental implant is a titanium post shaped like a natural tooth's root that is surgically inserted into the jawbone beneath the gums. These posts allow dentists to secure a replacement tooth or bridge in the correct position.
Maxillofacial prosthesis is a subspecialty of prosthodontics. A maxillofacial prosthesis is meant to rehabilitate patients who have defects or disabilities due to trauma, disease, or those that a patient is has from birth. The prosthesis is designed to replace parts of the bone or tissue that are missing, or to help restore functions of the mouth, such as swallowing, chewing, or speaking. Other prostheses are created to protect the face during radiation therapy. Dentists that work with maxillofacial prostheses often collaborate closely with ear, nose, and throat doctors.
