Statements In Tile/Lighting/Kitchens/Flooring
Their customer service is amazing and the reason that I keep coming back. They work with private customers as much as they do with the majority of builders and designers here in town. They have so much experience in what they do, that I think half the design jobs in town would get screwed up if it wasn't for Statements! But that's just my thoughts - I know it's got to be pretty tricky to know all the different materials, installation requirements, best uses, etc. for such a wide product range. Without someone like Statements on your side it's tough to get what you want done.. well, done. And they have a great eye for design at Statements, too.

Dollar General
The store is always messy. There are a lack of employees in the store so you will wait forever for a cashier to check you out. They are not informed about Digital Coupons and when an item is on sale in the ad and not in the store, they will argue with you saying that is not the exact item on sale when it is. When items are on sale for a very good price and they finally know about it, the item becomes sold out quickly and never restocked until the sale is over with.

Milestone Santa Fe
Porphyry has been used since Roman times for roads that are still functional today. Its naturally rough surface makes it walkable even when wet, and the way it's laid makes it permeable so you don't have run-off problems. Milestone and his staff (yes, his name echoes his profession -- I love it!), are very creative in suggesting patterns appropriate for different areas, and although I haven't lived long enough myself to know whether their work will last as long as the Romans, I'd be willing to bet! (If I lived long enough to collect, and you to pay).

Just a moment...
