Sears Appliance Repair
I've had our machine looked at in the past from the Sears service department 6 technicians came out none would wotprk on my LG stackable washer & Dryers ,They all said that they couldn't do it because they were at risk of damage . And in fact they were the ones that installed them . Under warranty they left the part ironically the machine started working after a few good old girl hits ! Well it worked for 3 more years then kaboom it broke again ! The young men came out and with no complaints the two amazing technicians had the washer up and running in no time ! Just goes to show with a good team it all works ... Loved those boys hard working no complaints smart , strong and competent !

The service was set up for water found in the drawers. The technician said he knew the problem very well and guaranteed me the problem will be fixed with the new parts. The problem came back 2 weeks later. I need a follow up service. Hopefully this time, the servicemen will do a better job.The 1st service was on 9/14. The 2nd was on 9/29. After about 1 week, we found water again. They will come again on 10/24.

Overall I am happy with Sears Appliance Repair. The technician was able to quickly diagnose the problem ordered the parts for our dishwasher and on the second appointment quickly replaced the parts. The only negative was it took two weeks to get the second appointment.

Tips & Advices
Aftermarket replacement parts can be perfectly safe and reliable, but be sure to do your research. If replacing a more integral piece, such as washing machine’s water pump or a thermostat for a busted water heater, it might be best to purchase new.
Replacement parts generally come with warranties extending anywhere from 30 days to five years, depending on the original price, the nature of the fix and the age of the part itself.
If you’re seeking new parts repair companies will generally mark up their prices slightly--particularly at a major national retailer. However, used parts are typically discounted.
Cheaper used appliance parts can be found online or at many local, independently owned retailers, along with ecommerce sites such as eBay. Major retailers, however, generally limit their selection to unused, full-priced options.
Second-hand appliance parts are generally anywhere between 50-75% cheaper than new ones, but warranties might not extend as long and the parts may be less reliable or come with a shorter lifespan. Be sure to research the source of any second-hand parts to ensure the dealer is reputable and the part itself reliable.
