Pit Row - The D.I.Y. Auto Shop
I recently went to this place for the first time. Initially I really liked the facility and the overall set up. But when it came to check out, the entire experience was enough to make me not want to go back though. The way Dennis charges customers for time used struck a negative cord with me; it's a rip off that plays out in his favor. He charges in 30 minutes increments (which was not made clear when I got there). I did not appreciate finding out about this billing practice until after it was time for me to leave. Apparently the five minutes I went over the hour was enough justification for charging me for a full 30 minutes. Pit Row charges $35.00 per hour. Since I went over 5 minutes past the hour, this was justification for charging me an extra $20.00.I previously have gone to Lifted Inc. over in Fremont a few times. I never had an issue with those guys charged me because it was based on what I actually used. Pit Row basically gets to pocket extra money from it's customers for time they didn't use. The only exception is if you stopped at exactly an hour, if you are 1 minute over, and now your getting charged for 1.5 hours. I'd be more inclined to recommend Lifted Inc, over Pit Row. Lifted doesn't inflate my bill with time I did not get to use.

Nasseri's Auto Tech
I'm female so it's hard to find a good, honest mechanic. Owner was a really nice guy. Gave me a great deal and really worked with me and my situation. I went to 2 different shops, they couldn't figure out the problem. David is really sharp, he found it was an electric problem. My car runs awesome now. I will definitely be going back!!!

Mobile Car Pros Inc
Bad experience. These people don't know any thing apart from changing oil.My car head lights got dimmed and Mobile car pros changed head lights. After changing head lights, mechanic not even seen if both head lights working or not. He just looked at driver side head light and told me ,head lights working.I took car and seen that passenger side head light was completely down. I informed this problem to mechanic, he suggested to change battery. I did that also and still same issue.I again raised this issue and this time they saying that , headlight connector is melted. It is in that stage even before changing bulb but they never looked at it. This time, these people told that issue if with electrical system and they don't know how to fix it.I took the car to another mechanic and problem is due to loose connection between headlight connector and bulb !!!!In the first place, mechanic changed bulb which never seems like problem. Actual problem is oxidation on lens.

Tips & Advices
Windows that open from the top are safest for children, assuming the child can't reach the opening. Parents who have windows that open from the bottom or sides can childproof them with wedges or window guards.
  • How long have you been in business?
  • Do you have any references or past work I can see?
  • Do you provide free estimates?
  • How much will the project cost?
  • When will the project be completed?
  • Is the crew hired or contracted, and do you conduct background checks?
  • Who will be in my home?
  • Do you offer a warranty?
Not necessarily. Unless all the windows are equally damaged or pose equal danger, homeowners can stagger their replacements to suit their budget.
  • Wood frames are beautiful and can be customized with paint and stains, but they also expand and contract as the weather changes. They're also susceptible to rot, mold, and pests. As such, wood frames require constant maintenance.
  • Vinyl frames are far more durable than wood. They resist moisture and are usually created with ultraviolet light stabilizers. This prevents the sun from damaging the frames over time. In addition, vinyl frames can be filled with insulation.
  • Aluminum frames are light and weather resistant, but they also conduct heat rapidly.
  • Fiberglass frames are the sturdiest option. Like vinyl options, they can be filled with insulation. Fiberglass frames also resist weather damage and do not crack, peel, expand, contract, bend, or warp.
Single-pane windows use one sheet of glass. Double-pane windows use two sheets of glass held together by a sealant. A small space between the panes is filled with air or gas to minimize the transfer of heat. Triple-pane windows add another sheet of glass and insulating space.
