  • Terrible! Poor service, long wait and expensive!

    Lawrence Pet Hospital is sloppy and is only interested in getting animals in and out. They are not concerned with the well being of your pets!\n\nBe ready to WAIT whenever you schedule an appointment with Lawrence Pet Hospital. This office overbooks their appointments. You will wait to be seen by a vet and then wait again to pay.\n\nI had two very bad experiences with this office (besides the unreasonably long wait to be seen every time ). A vet tech put a bandage on my cat's leg way too tightly, and never mentioned that she did this. My cat is fluffy and extremely shy, so when I got her home, she immediately hid. I didn't notice the bandage until ten hours later. The leg was terribly swollen. Fortunately, there didn't seem to be any permanent damage. \n\nThe vet tech did call the next morning, replying to the message I left and apologized, but she didn't bother to put this info in my cat's chart or inform the vet. \n\nThe clincher as to why I will never use this vet again was that a thyroid test was taken and I was supposed to be notified about the results in several days. It has been close to two weeks since I was informed the vet would call me with the results and I still haven't received a call. I even called earlier today and was told they sent the results to the veterinary office I have since switched to. Funny, I checked with that office and they didn't receive complete files on my cats.

    Extremely happy with the service we received. Our dog Lucky became very sick. When we called, they were able to immediately fit us in on a Sunday afternoon. Front staff identified our dog did not seem well and got us to a exam room immediately. Doctor was very professional. Explained her conditional and what our options were in a written estimate. Had to be hospitalized for three days. Doctor and nurse called us each day to give us an update to her condition and allowed us to come visit her each day. We are very happy with the doctor and staff. Today our Lucky is looking so happy and joyful. If your looking for a Vet clinic that goes above an beyond in pet and customer care. This is the place to go.
