A very enjoyable experience in general. The inside and outside are like going back over 100 years. Situated in a very nice setting. (Try for a window seat if you can.)They do need to treat the knat condition inside the restaurant, though. Their were quite a few of 'em. Detracts from the overall ambiance, which I'd actually give about 3 1/2 stars. Would rate about 4 1/2 if not for that. Really needs to be addressed somehow. (I.E. Maybe blue light bug zappers?)Service was pleasant, but not the greatest. Do I recommend going here? Oh yes!
Absolutely a hidden gem! The entire staff is so sweet and the prices are very reasonable compared to many Santa Barbara salons. The owner Gunilla has been doing my hair for many years and she is a GENIUS with color. I always walk out feeling beautiful & happy. No frills, no stuck up attitudes, just nice ladies who truly love what they do.
I've had the great privilege of dining in some very fine restaurants in different parts of the world, and this one is clearly one of the best. Be aware it IS expensive, but I'd recommend doing as I do; "setting my pennies aside"(a number of 'em) to enjoy the great pleasure of dining here. It is one classy place!!
I really enjoy the professionalism and atmosphere. I have worked with Misha for my haircuts and styling and she is very good with giving me exactly what I ask for. Working with my hairs texture. I leave feeling like a million bucks and get many compliments on my cut and style. I recommend her to anyone.
We love this place!! Hit it on Monday an hour before they stopped serving lunch and we practically had the place to our selves. Love the tri-tip sandwich. Always a must visit when we're en route to Los Olivos!
We were in town for a sports tournament and heard about this restaurant. It was one of the top 5 dinning experiences I have ever had. Food was amazing the staff was amazing. This dinner made our whole trip.
I always recommend the Palace Grill when someone asks about restaurants in Santa Barbara. Excellent food. But beware of the martini served in a mason jar ... They can sneak up on you.
A must stop place if you are in the Santa Barbara area. Tucked away in the hills above St B, it is a throwback to the stagecoach era. Great recommendation for friends.
Don't miss stopping here when you are near Santa Barbara. It's a nice drive up Stagecoach road. Food and historical ambiance is great.
Best studio in Santa Barbara. They have all the aveda products I need. Cindy is hands down the best hair dresser there.
