Farzad Family Law, APC
Farzad is wicked smart and tough and you want him as your lawyer. My ex wife went after me for what she claimed were medical bills for my daughter but were really almost all educational expenses. In the past, I have had multiple bad experiences with divorce attorneys, whom I spent fortunes on. So when this case came up, I went on my own as a pro per, since I could not believe anyone would take the ex’s claim serious. How wrong I was, the case turned bad and I thought I was going to have a large judgment against me because of a recommendation made by a court appointed referee. I thought I would lose and owe low six figures to the ex. I was referred to Robert Farzad and his law firm. Robert is an amazing attorney. He turned the case around by finding due process errors in the court’s order and the court appointed referee’s recommendations. By the time Robert was done, the court set aside its own order and my ex’s case started to fall apart because he was able to show that the case didn’t have merit. Robert filed an attorney fee motion against my ex since she makes significantly more money than I do and that became the catalyst for her dismissing the case, paying part of my lawyer’s fees in the process and paying me child support. Robert gets every detail, he prepares like nothing I have ever seen, and he is an encyclopedia of legal knowledge. Also he is a gentleman and a real advocate who wants to win your case. If you have serious money at stake, he is the attorney that I would recommend in a moment.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Robert and his staff. I contacted Robert via email around 1:30am out of desperation and I received a phone call same day. I was immediately put at ease by speaking with Robert regarding my case. My ex-husband had filed for full custody of our daughter for the second time in five years. Needless to say, I was in a state of shock and disbelief and desperate for help. Robert and I met a few days later and after reviewing all of the information I had to disprove the allegations, he took on my case. Four months later, my ex-husband not only dropped his full custody suit, but settled out of court to modifications on my terms. Robert, being the knowledgeable and stellar attorney he is, compromised with opposing counsel and my ex-husband, and managed to get my ex to agree to $10,000 in contribution towards my attorney fees. Robert and his staff are very forthcoming with information. They are very straight forward and always kept me up to date on new developments. I felt completely safe and knew that every person working on my case had my best interest at heart; as well as my daughter. I wouldn't have had the outcome I did without the care and representation of Robert Farzad.I highly recommend Farzad Family Law to anyone that is starting or going through a family law matter.

Farzad & Mazarei Law Firm is currently representing me in my custody case of my 1 year old son. I have been a client for one year and everything I have seen thus far from this law firm has been great. My son’s father left the country (non-military job) for a year but is seeking 50% physical custody of our son. He occassionally sent supplies and some funds when he remembered but Matthew from Farzad & Mazarei was able to secure adequate child support. They have never wavered from being reasonable and fair. Matthew and Robert have always responded to my concerns with expert advice and Matthew handled the opposing attorney with precision. Representation by such a strong law firm has given me the peace of mind that I have needed throughout this stressful experience. They have kept my best interests in mind and I am very confident that we will get the results that are in the best interest of my son when we go to court on the custody portion upon his return to the United States.

Are you willing to go with anything less than the best? I can tell you that I've already referred two new clients to him that saw Robert in action representing me in court ..that's got to say something. Anyways I can go on & on about why you should look no further but then again that's up to you. I'll leave you with this last question.. Who do you want in your corner when that day comes where you find your self in the middle of the fight of your lifetime?? Think that over but don't think too long, remember this time is precious and for some reason you're still reading this.. I bet you feel a little bit better thinking there's someone out there that I can trust and will have my back so do the right thing for yourself because I can guarantee you will remember this review when you end up in court kicking your self for not doing so.

James C Bechler Law Offices
We came to meet Mr. Bechler when I was having an audit with IRS and they came to a phenomenal amount of money I was needing to pay or have major consequences. I file quarterly , I own a small landscaping company that has been just nearly afloat for the past few years. How could I owe anything? They had pulled some kind of data I just don't understand I knew this was not legit and they proceeded with their attempts of scaring me threatening me and that is when I hired Mr. Bechler, this guy knows his stuff! I was so surprised finding out that he has experience with all kind of law specialties. He had actually resolved the entire matter with a few faxes and phone calls. If you want a pro then give The Law Canter a call, I know you will be impressed like I was.

To the Law Office of Margaret Reyes,I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to your services to my mother. Countless hours have been spent on this overall case, and I have much gratitude in your work and patience. There were many obstacles and inconveniences that appeared, from minor to significant things, yet you still put yourself up to the task. Even if it was not directly related to your work, such as providing my mother a ride when needed, you were there and ready. The end result and success of your work has put my mother in a much more suitable position than before in regards to various things, such as her household. Again, I give you my greatest thanks for everything you have done.Regards,Andre Gomez

Farzad & Mazarei represented me in a problematic child support case. This case had been going on for quite a few years and all advice I’d been given was negative and hopeless at best. My problems seemed to be insurmountable. I was literally at my wit’s end. Amazingly, with Farzad & Mazarei’s representation, the results they were able to obtain for me were better than I could have ever imagined. I’m usually not given to dramatic statements, but to say that I felt as if my life were suddenly “given back to me” is truly an understatement. I would, without any reservations whatsoever, very highly recommend them to anyone caught up in any aspect of the complicated, tangled legal web of family court.

Farzad & Mazarei represented me in my divorce case. You are probably going through the same emotions as I was, confusion, anger, frustration but most of all sadness to have to go through this process. Rest assured, Farzad & Mazarei’s and their professional staff made me feel completely at ease as I went through this tough time. Their legal team helped me understand the volumes of California divorce law and protected my best interest in my case. At the end, my legal team saved me a lot of money and I won many of the issues that were brought up in my divorce proceedings. I can truly say that I would highly recommend Farzad & Mazarei to anyone who was going through a divorce.

Farzad & Mazarei, specifically Attorney Matthew Sundly, has represented my interests in an ongoing and difficult custody situation for the last 4 years. There is no one else I would want to represent me. The professionalism, communication and interest in my case are second to none. Without Mr. Sundly’s commitment and personal attention to the details of my case, I fear what the outcome might have been. Knowing Mr. Sundly to the level I do, I know the rest of this law firm is nothing short of top shelf. If you need legal representation for matters within their area of practice and expertise, you cannot go wrong with this law firm. I highly recommend their services.

Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
