*MISTREATING VETERANS* I am an Army vet and I had to go to this location for services that the Army was providing for me. Otherwise I would have left this place as soon as I walked in the door. No one at the front desk, no one to greet me. I sat in their waiting room for 30 minutes before someone finally came in. And even then, I was not greeted. I waited to see when I would be finally greeted and it took about an hour. I caution you not to come to this place of business if you are looking for any semblance to customer service, professionalism and good hygiene. This place takes ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for their actions, they are unapologetic, especially that "Dr" Kundra. I won't tell you my entire experience but I will say this, the one thing that could have saved my experience was an "I'M SORRY" followed by an excuse for your poor service. You have a lot to learn "Dr" Kundra and when karma catches up to you (and if it hasn't already, it will) think of the way you treated me today and all the other people you have mistreated because of your PRIDE. There is a word called EMPATHY, look it up "Dr" Kundra, you could learn a lot by studying it. Also "Dr" Kundra, look up the word HYGIENE. This man walked out from his previous appointment with his gloves still on, gown on and face mask on. Talk about POOR INFECTION CONTROL. I will sum up my experience by saying this, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNHYGIENIC, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, ZERO RESPECT FOR VETERANS. This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star that I have to give it.

Smile Dental Center
Everyone at Smile Dental is so nice and welcoming. I enjoy seeing everyone there and it's always a good time. From their HUGE, crystal clear 3D tvs to the Netflix streaming, you can't go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern high tech office with the most caring dental team in the peninsula. They make keeping a healthy smile so fun!

Richard Young MD
Dr. Young is the most thorough, kind and knowledgeable primary care physician I've ever met. You may have to wait, because he cares for his clients but I never feel worried, I feel he is looking holistically at all of my health and I get the sense he really cares.

This is the first time In 20 years I have given a dentist full marks..My first visit was great!Every step of my treatment was taken seriously and I am delighted with the results so far, I have pretty neglected teeth but have no fear going back to his office and surgery, Every member of the staff are kind and happy to be there. Please call if you are a nervous person like me.

Dr. George W Shorago
This doctor is a horrible person, not nice to his patients at all!!If you are little heavy woman or a lot heavy woman, the doctor treats you like crap!I came for help and all that I got was how bad I was to be heavy and I am the one making myself sick with the pe-condition that I have. When this is not a true statement since all the women in my family have this condition, and most of them are thinner than me.If you are a thin lady or person, you have no trouble with the doctor and everything is fine and dandy, but if you have a little meat on your bones. Watch out you will feel worse when you came in to get help from a nose, ear and throat doctor.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
